Postby James » 15 Jan 2015, 08:18

The first LRRcast recorded in the new year is all about New Year's Resolutions. Kind of?

I agree 100% on the "set achievable goals, and work incrimentally" approach. I even did what Beej did when I was in high school, giving up potato chips (and it helped my health massively).

I quite like the fact that you don't know what the other group talked about in their LRRcast. It causes some interesting overlap, yet still enough difference so as not to feel repetitive.

I like the point about trying not to change too much, too fast. I changed my diet only slightly a few months ago by reducing my suger intake, as Alex mentioned, and it's made me feel a lot better already. 'The Nerdist Way' by Chris Hardwick gave me the idea. Also had a great chapter on planning (which I have yet to use :s)
