I thought the DB2017 Qwerpline would tide me over, but now I have more questions than before.

I know that the Desert Bus Qwerplines are considered non-canon, and so Derek's high-pitched voice in the DB2017 episode would likewise be considered non-canon... but is it possible that Derek actually did have a cold in "Don't Bet On It," and he'll go back to having a high-pitched voice when he recovers?
