I believe it was "probable beers" wasn't it? I'll go check now.

EDIT: I'm wrong. I'll go start on my entry now.
I'm a very boring person.

My new rank is awsome!

Do you want a higher resolution version of the intro? It will have to wait until I back in Vancouver next week though.

Dreamcasts were indeed "liquid cool", but also loud as hell.

And yeah, I am really resisting the urge to be EXTREMELY geeky and look for that reflection...

My entries. Rather half assed, but I'm not feeling very creative.

Paul Saunders
DoB unknown - April 7 2007

Founding member of the web cult Loading Ready Run, Paul lived much of his life in secrecy. A weakness for Nintendo video games left him shattered and broken. He thought he could handle Wii boxing but he was wrong and like so many other shining stars has been dimmed before his time. The wake will be held in Matt’s basement, BYOB and try not to swear to much or Matt’s dad’ll be right pissed. C’mon, he’s sending emails!

Graham Stark
January 20 1922 - April 10 2007

An aspiring director who, after the death of his rumoured to be gay-lover Paul Saunders, took his own life. According to police reports his death was quick and painless. However the time leading up to his death was most likely incredibly painful and disturbing enough to cause even the strongest person to shatter like a thin pane of glass attacked with a ‘67 Chevy Impala. When asked to comment Detective Quentin Jones merely laid on the hospital bed, not breathing.

Jeremy Petter

DoB unknown - April 22 2007

A recently recovered drug addict, Mr. Petter lived the quiet life of a home gardener. When the police received an anonymous tip that led them to his domicile his only reply was to begin firing upon the police force with a sawed-off shotgun. He was heard to scream “I take you fucking bullets,” before finally being felled by one Patrolman Rodriguez.

Morgan Van Humbeck

DoB unknown - June 2 2007

Morgan was kidnapped in early 2007 by a crazed fan who forced him to live with him in Florida. After using Morgan for his bizarre sexual experimentation the kidnapper began to simply ignore him. Forced to go without his daily rations of DotA and Whisky he soon withered away to nothingness at which point his kidnapper dumped his body outside of his dormitory in the hopes that a janitor would clean up the mess. Morgan will be greatly missed by the female fan base of LRR, an online cult that he was a prominent member of.

James Turner

December 20 1766 - June 3 2007

Long thought to have found the path to immortality, Mr. Turner was assaulted and torn apart by a group of ravenous Loading Ready Cultists due to his proclivity towards putting the holy word of the gods up late. The attack was over swiftly, and all that remained in his place amongst the blood was a frisbee marked with the phrase “Ghosts of Mars.” Authorities are still currently investigating the possibility of foul play.

Bill Watt
DoB unknown - July 1 2007

A man of grotesque height, Mr. Watt met his end at the hands multiple concussions cause by forgetting to duck through doorways because he was drunk. No funeral is planned, although there is talk of having his body sent to Blizzard Studios to commemorate his love for a number of their video games.

Matt Wiggins
DoB unknown - exact date unknown speculated to be July 18 2007

Matt was found dead in his basement only after his father noticed that there was a lot less swearing emanating from underneath the house. As his body had entered an advanced stage of decomposition the cause of death is still unknown but many speculations have been made. Most people believe it was his love of big cars and fast women that brought him down. Other’s yet believe it was the half pound of uncut cocaine that was found sampled from next to his body.

Kathleen De Vere

DoB unknown - January 27 2076

Passed quietly in her sleep. Before she fell asleep however she wouldn’t stop bitching about Pitchfork Media.

Due to the fact that PSU limited my bandwidth to 56kps for going over my weekly limitation (because of some pictures I uploaded to some certain websites (ie my LRR logo and photos from my recent trip home)), I have yet to hear the podcast, since the melon-farming internet is too goddamn slow now. But, is it safe to say that this weeks challenge is obituaries? Cuz if it is, expect a kickass entry.

The dreamcast was loud, but totally worth what little noise there is. I just covered it with a towel and made sure the vents didnt get fucked up.

And I didn't know it was actually liquid cooled.

James- ending was gold.
Gramham- DOA was not anywhere near a good move, it sucked... for a lack of better word, ASS.

Orbituary's will hopefully appear later.

Hey, I'm a girl and I liked DOA (and yes, I'm straight, so it's not for that reason) I thought it stayed true to the game. Honestly, were you expecting some sort of epic drama? It entertained me plenty considering what I payed for it...

It was Alex and a couple friends playing the most extreme game of Rock, Paper, Scissors ever, with Satan, for Pocky.

I expected no epic drama but Hayabusa was NOT some mindless servant. They described him as a superninja, he was no superninja in the movie. Nor did Donovan kick anybody's ass.

So just to clairafy, you can only write one entry per cast member, But you only need to do one to enter?

I doubt it is, but I have to admit, pissing off the posters may help foster some pretty awesome obituaries, if you think about it. Just don't go overboard.

Because comedians were mentioned, George Carlin is coming to town. It seems like it hasn't be advertised much. The only reason I found out is because I saw a small ad in Monday Magazine. He's performing at The Royal Theater on May 6. It's going to be amazing.

Also Arrested Development is the best sitcom since Seinfeld.

I'm just going to do Bill Watt's obit:

Bill Watt -

Today we mark the passing of Bill Watt. He had many friends who loved him. His 6ft 10inch height belied his gentleness. Some have dubbed him "The gentle giant". He was a great actor who could play any part thrown at him.

His friends affectionaly called him "the human garbage disposal" due to the fact that he will also eat anything thrown at him no matter how disgusting it looks. Ironically it was while he was eating a concoction of unknown elements that he met his demise.

He will be missed by his friends, his castmates, and his fans.
Le grá,

Steve
