What? I don't mess around with stuff - if I wanna show a pic here, I right-click on the image elsewhere, select "Copy Image Location" then paste it in between some 'img' tags in my post. Yeah, it's leeching, but it's also tons faster than digging around to find out if a site even ALLOWS hotlinking. (and if they really didn't want me to leech, they'd take steps like this site does - it can still be done, but it's inconvenient enough to be not worth the effort.)
Besides, if you really want to go to the site, 'Copy Image Location' is also your friend; just truncate the individual image filename from the url and pop it in that long white bar at the top of your browser.
Sorry if I'm not being enough of an unpaid marketeer for a website that I find amusing enough to bookmark, but haven't looked at in about a year...

Fun Fact: in NERO (a LARP) it's an unwritten rule that should a girl show up at the camp site wearing nothing but a chain mail bikini, she automatically get the highest possible armor rating.
... or, at least it was a rule about 3 - 5 years ago (I haven't been involved since then).
Maybe that rule applies to video games.
so...
?
And on that topic,
(yeah, I heard the game wasn't very good, but kudos for the sexiest female protagonist since Samus Aran.)
Actually, on that topic, why not. I think this one counts.

Ahhhh, my bad - I could still see the image after you'd replied. Guess llbbl is a little more devious than I'd thought.
Fine...I think I've got an imageshack account somewheres...
Ah!

Waitaminute...I hit 'preview' to check how imgshk was doing, and I see the leeched pic again?!?
Whatever; guess I'll go through the extra steps in future....here's a bonus one that kinda explains where those 'bonuses for cleavage and/or open midriff' come from:

Anywaysers, back to the TOPIC, I have since looked through my game collection, and I've come to the realization that if the box art features a scantily-clad female, I'm not buying into the 'sex sells crap' tactic and not buying the game.
The closest I came to is a couple of OLD SSI/TSR 'Gold Box' CRPGs - Gateway to the Savage Frontier
and Treasures of the Savage Frontier,
but 1) the covers are relatively tame, and b) the games themselves weren't actually bad.
There's a recent game I demo'ed off of Steam, called Silverfall,
but it's a fairly generic isometric RPG and I'd never noticed the box art featuring some elven crumpet that's really only a supporting character in the plot until I saw it at an EB a week or so later...

It's the boxart for the new Golden Axe game. I found a different one(old one was front and back, Xbox version, new one is front only, PS3 version, but they're otherwise identical). I'll find something else if it still doesn't work.

I've heard they provide very good *ahem* support.

I remember the days of the internet when the men were men, the women were men, and the children were law enforcement agents.
I'm commissioning a motivational poster based on that...
