Re: LRRcast for Spare Jonny the Tax Assassin

Mmkay, that's cool. In case my tone of voice didn't come through on my original post, I wasn't trying to be mean, just a little frustrated and a mostly silly tone of voice.

In any case if you guys do stick with HD LRRcasts it would be nice if you also offer a SD version.

Re: LRRcast for Spare Jonny the Tax Assassin

Why is the video upscaled? really? Almost 800MB for low quality video with a high quality overlay? Blargh. Please don't do that next time. Thx.

Edit: Tone of voice: Silly with a hint of frustration.

Re: Loading Time - Pros at Cons

If I knew about gottacon, I would have considered, and ended up not taking the ferry ride over to attend.

I'm too lazy to ask google, so do you know if there's any similar con's in Vancouver? Otherwise, I've always wanted to go to pax prime, but haven't yet.

Yeah, I wanted to finish the conversation I started. And I've been watching these on backlog, so I didn't really notice the continuity failure.

Re: GPLP: Dante's Inferno

Sooo, the word is from Nordic Mythology, the modern concept generally draws from Hades, and the Judeo-Christian/Biblical mentions (most of the places where the bible says "Hell") are usually referencing the burning rubbish dump in Jerusalem. I'm just glad that the traditions in which I was...

Re: GPLP: Dante's Inferno

At the beginning of Part 12, Graham and Paul discuss how odd it is that there are a lot of people in hell. So, I'll now start a bit of a theological discussion. Basically, it's still up for debate if good non-Christians must go to hell. Also, the whole concept of hell as we and Dante understood it d...

Re: So I go to Victoria the other day...

I just heard about this guy on google+ from a friend who moved to Victoria. I'd hop on the ferry for a day just to see this.

And, as for a reason to resurrect this thread, he's still doing his job.

Re: Loading Time - Shirt Shipping

It also cost us $12 to ship something to Nanaimo (2 hours away) than to New Zealand. could this have something to do with you being on an island? No, because Nanaimo is 2 hours away on the same island . It has solely to do with Canada Post sucking balls like none other. I remember a while ago that ...

I know that they still have bags in Ontario, but I've never seen any in Vancity. Mebbe on the island? I don't know what to believe anymore.
