Graham Stark, Pink Panther actor, dies aged 91

Here's why cats always land on their feet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtWbpyjJqrU

Dammit, how did one, and only one, from-the-original-prop replica of Malcolm Reynold's pistol find its way onto the UK version of Amazon?

Re: How to Recognise a Spambot

I'm flattered that this is all as a result of my responding to a spambot (doh...) but in my defence you can't see avatars or post counts on the mobile site, and also I can be insanely naïve. Like really, crushingly stupid sometimes. I put all my XP into other skill sets.

Re: Tom Clancy RIP

I agree with Red Storm Rising being one of the best books, even though it wasn't in the Executive Orders continuity. And it was clear that his personal/political views were different from mine, but damn could he tell a good tale.

Re: cause of internet pages timing out

Still feeling annoyed - I was using the mobile site, which has less user details (no post counts in-thread), and I was typing painstakingly slowly on a software keyboard.

Re: cause of internet pages timing out

Wow that's a lot of questions. I hope you haven't been hacked. Generally, in order to be hacked you have to click on or run something infected, or leave your WiFi unsecured. Here's some basic things you should do: Password protect your WiFi using WPA (or 802.11i if your router does it). If you've al...

The last $500 level has gone, but that means there's a tennis ball up for grabs (and I'm going to be $450 poorer!)

Well, I believe Hosk has changed tiers, so you can have All Of The Shirts if you've got $2500 Canadian to burn ;-)

Re: The Loading Ready Run Kickstarter

As far as I know Wolfwood, KS accounts are tied to e-mail, not credit card numbers. But IANAL, so read the TOS before you do anything. Unless someone already has 2 KS accounts and can give a better answer? You may have one KS account, but I have three KS accounts. I use one on my laptop, one on my ...

Re: KickStarting!

Finally, having too many email addresses has paid off - Kickstarter lets you create multiple accounts and thus back multiple reward tiers that way. Will now be getting all the merch, a gaming session and a tennis ball. Very pleased indeed.

I'd have thought that wouldn't come up - you'd just tap the newly-played land to cast Awaken, thus sparing an existing Mountain to act as the target? EDIT - I suppose something like Rootbound Crags might explain being able to tap for three red without having an existing Mountain, but that can't be t...
