Re: PAX West 2016 (The Convention formerly known as Pax Prim
Hallo! I'm also going to PAX Prime/West (3rd time) and don't have room arrangements yet. I'm still working out some details but I want to post here to try and get the ball rolling on finding something (and also to bump the topic so others will more likely post). I may contact other posters in this t...

Re: PAX-Prime
4:30 might be good to give people a chance to eat after the panels. Any suggestions for where to meet?

Re: PAX-Prime
Yeah that could work.. although Graham and Kathleen are in another panel in the same theater a half hour after the LRR panel ends so I assume some folks are gonna want to stick around for that (most likely me included). But it may be that we can do a quick meet-up between the panels wherever we'd be...

Re: PAX-Prime
oops I missed the reply somehow =[ @Ravynn Sounds good! I just followed you (I'm emberBecky on Twitter also). Yeah Twitter will work best since we'll have easier access to it while traveling and there's better potential for signal-boosting. Though just in case anyone Not On Twitter wants to particip...

Re: PAX-Prime
AHHH it's too close. I'm not reeady... So I was wondering.. are there any plans for a LRR fan meetup or hangout type thing during PAX (or maybe right before or after)? If there are no current plans.. is that something which would interest anyone? Meeting up for tabletop stuff or MTG could be...

Re: PAX-Prime
I should be going to PAX this year, as long as nothing goes too wrong financially before then. =[ This will be my second PAX. Last year I met a lot of great people and had an awesome time, despite not usually being good at social things. I didn't get to hang out with any LRR community people last ye...

Re: Try again -LRR fan D&D e-group -need no previous experie
If the mic won't be necessary, then I can start this weekend. I'm available this Friday until about 6:30 or so, and any time this Saturday. Sorry if I missed this somewhere but were we going to do this on a site like roll20 or just on skype/hangouts or something? Having a program with dice and stuff...

I may be interested in this. I've never played D&D before but I've watched it played a lot online and I've been interested in starting.
I assume we need a microphone for this (and possibly a webcam)? I was planning on getting a mic soon anyway.
I'll fill out my times on the sheet.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
Hey all! Just started on the server today. It's my first time doing multi-player minecraft (I've played single player for several years) so I'm excited but sort of nervous about accidentally messing with other folks' stuff. I made a land claim at the surveyor's office after checking the other claims...

Re: Animal Crossing: New Leaf (3DS) Registry
Hi.. I'm a new 3DS owner and AC:NL player! Hopefully people still check this thread. 3DS Friend Code: 1306-7988-4035 AC:NL Character -- Becky Town Name -- Emberton Native Fruit -- Apple Preferred Activity -- Probably more business, but open to social Ordinance -- None right now (will probably enact ...

Re: Things on My Stream
How did you enjoy LRRcon? Being less crowded and more LRR focused, was it more comfortable for you than something like PAX?
I wasn't able to attend last May.. but if you guys did it again I would definitely want to go and it would be cool to get to meet you there.

Re: Social Anxiety Fear Factor
Congrats on being an Omeganaut! And yeah, I think that the PA DVD has an Omeganaut section, right? At least that's what I remember from the 2009 DVD I have. Thanks! I think I remember watching an online PATV about the Omegathon, but maybe I'm just remembering PAX episodes. Either way, I should get ...

Re: Social Anxiety Fear Factor
I liked this sketch a lot. The first part was kind of like a nightmare acted out. And it was very well acted by Paul, which was actually the most uncomfortable part about it because I really felt for him. Kathleen was amazing too. She was like the embodiment of my paranoia about what people "re...

Re: The Dark
I loved the effect with the goggles. It especially made me laugh in the stinger. It's amazing how much your brain can infer from one point of movement on a human along with their voice. It kind of made me think of the robots from WALL-E, just in how the emotions are recognizable even with only minim...

I was thinking "Uh oh, you lit the Brony signal" but then Paul got carried off and I forgot about that.
This one was excellent, by the way. May it spread like wildfire through the enraged internet.

Re: The New Old Thing
I liked the whole video but the stinger really just put an excellent cap on the whole thing. I especially loved Kathleen's delivery at the end. :D MS DOS was mostly before my time, but I do remember having to boot up Windows 95 in MS DOS mode whenever I wanted to play the original Oregon Trail. I th...

Re: Live on Location
I like how it seems like it will just be about the green screen messing up but then it becomes about the anchor's extreme gullibility/mug obsession.
Paul's character in this is very endearing. I want to see his delighted face when he receives his mug from dinosaur times.

Re: GPLP next game thread
So iirc you guys mentioned on stream that you had considered Epic Mickey 2 for GPLP. I played some of that with my 10-yr-old cousin on the Wii and while it has serious problems, overall I think it could be a good choice, assuming that the controls are better on other platforms than on the Wii. We ha...

Re: Introduce yourselves! (A friendly topic for new members)
Hello! I am Becky. Or Ember. Whichever. You may have seen me in twitch chat. I am a relatively new LRR fan. I have been going through the video archives since September and I've finally caught up to the present day. (the streaming slowed me down, and I also watched all the vidcasts and listened to a...
