Not that a spammer is completely out of the question yet, but I'm reasonably sure that a human created that account.

Wondering whether that booze stockpile might mean a fair few Yelling Bird strips in future.
Should've known it'd be you.

if i had to choose one specific series to woo at it would have to be dino thunder. closely followed by spd and operation overdrive. dunno why but there's just something about dino thunder that worked really well. also tommy's back.

So I guess now we just need to figure out who The Hyena is...
Unless there's a Toast account, that one we should probably investigate first.

Re: LRRcast for Interrupted Garage
In relation to the new magic mechanics I totally agree with something to fix the whole "getting mana screwed" since it is the most irritating thing to happen in games I've played. (side note; except a friend of mine 9/10 times dropping a Sol ring turn one in EDH)
But as for a new mechanic, I was pondering something that I've been experimenting with on magic set editor that I call "pinpoint" which is essentially anti- shroud/hexproof. Because i find it more irritating to not have a target than something that's indestructible, but maybe that's just me.

How would you implement Pinpoint? And balance it against Shroud and Hexproof?
Cause that's sort of the point of those abilities.

I never watched MASK, but yeah, that song is pretty damn good.
Personally, I'd love to see Mighty Orbots come back, but that's not likely to happen since they kinda... blatantly ripped off another giant robot from Japan and were sued into cancellation for it.

Tell me about it! he's done more as well - 80s and 90s. my childhood is playing out in front of my eyes in 10-minute long segments!
Re: LRRcast for Interrupted Garage
I played through all of FF XIII. I think I enjoyed it but I'm still not sure. I remember liking playing it while I played it, but when I wasn't playing it, I complained about it a lot. Yet I'm totally going to play FF XIII-2 as well! Obviously Kathleen, we were brainwashed somehow.
Also MASK was an awesome cartoon. I've been afraid to re-watch it, since it likely isn't anywhere near as good as I remember it.

My definition of Nerd and Geek is an analogy:
A nerd is someone who spends their day on the computer.
A geek is someone who can take apart and re-build it.

And now you know the rest of the episode. Good day!

If I had to choose an 80s TV show I wanted to have remade (and done properly) I think I would choose Airwolf. Again a show with an awesome theme song, and I love the sound that the jet engine made.
Also, I'd love to see someone try to do a live-action Freakazoid!

Are we talking desktop or laptop? Because the two are very different in structural architecture.
I would say a geek has a generic knowledge of something, like video games or the Internet, whilst a nerd is a specialist in one or two specific areas.
So whilst the geek can talk to you about the quality of video games from the last twenty years or so, a nerd will tell you every detail of every video game over the last thirty as well as how each relates to and was important in the video game industry at large.

True, and it's still just an idea. but I would word it "can select target regardless of ability". i know it makes shroud and hexproof pointless but it's not like every spell would use it, and some abilities make others pointless too like exile to an indestructible creature. an example is an instant for 2 damage has pinpoint allowing it to hit a creature with shroud.

Re: LRRcast for Interrupted Garage
I decided to ask the new mechanic question partly because I was curious to see what play styles the crew would want to play with (or try out) if they created it themselves, but also because I've been thinking of a few mechanics myself so it seemed fresh in my mind
One I've been thinking of is one called Order and Chaos (or balance and imbalance), in which cards gain certain effects based on all players health, with Order effects activating when all health is the same and Chaos effects ativating when at least one player's health is higher or lower than the rest. So for example, an instant card like Shock that deals 2 damage to creature or player irregardless, but if Order is in effect it deals 5 damage instead and if Chaos is in effect you gain 2 life. Or a random 3/6 creature that in Order has +3/0 and Trample, but in Chaos is a Defender.
Another one I thought of after you mentioned the "Don't get mana-screwed one" would be called Fair Play. These would be cards that would be cheap to cost, and in some cases affect all players, but require a difference in numbers in order to be activated. For example a healing spell would only work if there was a difference in health. Where this gets interesting though is that while you can use these cards on yourself to get to your opponents level in terms of card size/land total/creature total/health, you can also use this on your opponent to get them to your level, and in doing so it will grant you a bonus, such as placing a strong token on the battlefield or letting you play more land that turn.
