Zeno Clash - Trailer
What is this I don't even
Just Cause 2 - Trailer
Infinite parachutes and grappling hooks. Why? Just 'cause.
Queued voting candidates:
Underhell
Asura's Wrath
Shadows of the Damned
Singularity
Tiny and Big
Stacking
Volgarr the Viking
Bonus Time! (Alex's extra picks)
Brigmore Witches
VETO CARD (When this comes out i'm playing it, full stop.)
Child of Light
Rejected
S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat MISERY mod
I tested this mod out and I don't think it will be fun to stream because the game is simply too hardcore and granular. It's all the difficulty of stalker with management of food, water, sleep, etc. This mod is so REALISM that the gun cleaning kit and oil are separate items. I think this might be an interesting play solo but I think it would be an impossible hardship for everyone on stream.
The Stanley Parable
This game and the mod it was based off of are incredible, but I've played through both. With the surprise sprung on me already I don't think there would be much in the way of entertainment to watch me play through pretending I don't know what's going to happen next.
Skyrim/Fallout/Most sandbox games
There is just too much to do in these games and without specific goals or at least a time limit I could end up playing for ages. That having been said, there may be plans afoot to do something utilizing these titles elsewhere.
Antichamber
This game has an interesting concept, but I just found it entirely too opaque and frustrating to make playing it on stream enjoyable for anyone.
[EDIT]
Feel free to post your suggestions for future titles in this thread as well. They will be vetted by yours truly, but as long as I feel it would be entertaining I'll probably consider it.

I loved my clean hands play-through of dishonored so I'd be stoked for that, returning to the Zone would be sweet but I reckon we should save that for later in the year.
Future suggestions: The Witcher Series, not sure if this is exactly your jam in terms of setting Alex but I loved the tone and the story and the second game is just effin gorgeous so thats the one I would probably suggest.

Stealth Heavy Armour 2hed Weapon run of Skyrim.
Problems:
Sandbox game, so need to set arbitory goals to make it exciting.
Unless it's played like "Explorer Mode" where you just murk around the world of Skyrim raiding various Dungeons with the chat giving commands of which direction to travel in next for the dungeon to do afterwards.

I'm feeling a pinball simulator of some sort. One of those that manages to work a story into the table.

I was actually curious if Dishonored had any interesting Mods that you could put on it. Not necessarily Should play with mods, but it'd be a nifty option.

DayZ seems like it would be really entertaining for a few episodes, but I'd be interesting in pretty much all of these.

Re: IDDQDerp nextplay poll
I'll keep this poll running until Tuesday but I'm starting to detect a landslide.
Re: IDDQDerp nextplay poll
Dishonoured definitely looks like a great game, but that's kind of why I don't think you should play it on stream. Unless you really want to play Dishonoured I'd like to see you play Jazzpunk, since you've mentioned it and it sounds like a good freak-out game.
STALKER was good because it was hard, glitchy, and you knew what you were doing; SMod was good because it was silly and you knew what you were doing; Prayer Warriors was good because it was messed up, broken, and you didn't know what you were doing.
I think: Bulletstorm would be funny for the same reasons as SMOD; Call of Pripyat would be funny for the same reasons as STALKER; Jazzpunk might be funny for similar reasons to Prayer Warriors, but the game sounds like it might actually be good.

Perhaps either "I Am Alive", "Bioshock" or "Bioshock Infinite"? Or have Alex play Mass Effect

Drunken Robot Pronography - Haven't played it myself yet, but it's by the same guys who did AHHHHHHHHHH! A Reckless Disregard for Gravity. It seems like it might be a good fit to the show, and be short enough to not take up more than a week's worth of stream.
Don't Starve - I consider it Minecraft Survival Mode Extreme, with extra spoops. It might be interesting to see Alex take it on for a while.
Red Faction: Guerilla - Alex derps around on Mars and blows stuff up. What else is needed? Maybe some fun mods.
The Typing Of The Dead: Overkill (potentially with one of the DLC) - Alex derps around with zombies while typing (though might not be as good for this since it means he wouldn't be able to interact as much with the chat).
Dead Rising series - Similar to Red Faction, but with zombies and cheese.
Driver: San Francisco - Alex IS THE GHOST! This might be fun for a one-time stream or a cool-off stream between bigger games. I don't think it's worth completing on-stream though unless Alex makes it fun. It might be better suited to someone else too.
Just Cause 2 - maybe cheat to the end-game stuff and use as another one-time dicking around stream. Though I could see it not being able to last three hours too... so maybe with the multiplayer mod?
Wasteland and/or Fallout - After seeing Alex play STALKER, I think it might be interesting to see his take on the more old-school games that came before it.

Re: IDDQDerp nextplay poll
If you're taking suggestions for games, maybe look at Reveiver? I haven't actually played it, but from what I've seen, it might be something Alex might like for a one-off stream.
Re: IDDQDerp nextplay poll
I highly support Jazzpunk for a future stream, but I'd also love to see a Dishonored run. I'm complete pants at that game and would enjoy seeing someone with actual skill doing a clean hands run.

I'll be up for any of these, but I voted for the one I would enjoy most.

Wow, there seems to be an overwhelming desire to see me choke out the entire city watch. How would you guys feel about me trying to finish Papo & Yo and start on that tomorrow?

Do want. Any idea of what time the stream might be, though?

Re: IDDQDerp nextplay poll
I still need to watch the replay of the first part of Papo & Yo, but I would be quite happy to see that if it's at a time I'm around.

Right when I'm gonna start drafting, as I assumed. But despite that, I think it's worth doing. I know I'll be trying to tune in.

Re: IDDQDerp nextplay poll
Well that should work perfectly for me, so I fully approve.
Re: IDDQDerp nextplay poll
I'm currently trying #1 myself but it would be nice to see how it's done. In the category of things you only say when playing Dishonored: "I can't stop killing people"

Want to make the game hard? Don't upgrade anything the game doesn't force you to! Yeah, get around on minimum skills!

Re: IDDQDerp nextplay poll
Okay, 3pm Saturday - finish off Papo & Yo, and then start up Dishonored for a CLEAN HANDS runthrough - no killing (when possible).
I'm down with that - I'm also eager for just about everything everyone else has mentioned, including the other poll options, eventually. Mind you, we've still got ten more months to squeeze all these games in
...now I just have to rush the fuck through Dishonored myself before then so that I don't get anything spoiled by watching...
