THANK GOD!!! I was astonished by how desperately I missed it during the hiatus. This one was outstanding. Seemed like there were fewer laugh breaks than usual, but I thought it was one of the best so far, especially Richter's bit

Was Ian breaking up at the end of the Richter bit? It sounds like Ian's barely containing himself.

I feel like the only reason A-Train doesn't simply resign as Aldersm'n is that he knows that if he does resign, they're just going to run another 67-candidate emergency election, and like hell is he putting everyone through that a second time. (Also there's no guarantee that they wouldn't vote him right back in.)

A new Qwerpline is always a good start to the day.

Ok, Sunnel of my Cakes. :D

Beej is the one who comes up with the tongue-twisting brand names, isn't he?

I could tell that he was having a lot of fun with Great Height Freight Lightweight Flight.

Joy being born at an inconvenient time (rush hour) has got to be a dig at Penelope's timing.

That got a new noise out of someone at the "magical caverns" line. Sounds like Alex, but it's hard to tell.

That's my only pre-prepped thing I bring. And that one took me over an hour to put together. I am *very* proud of it.

I actually started being really okay with Joy being in the helicopter with Richter, and found the imagery of a father figure watching over you (however ineffectively) during rush hour traffic somewhat beautiful.

Which is probably a sign of Nsburg further corrupting my sense of normalcy, but eh, there are worse prices to pay for entertainment.

Much love for this episode. I gotta ask, when are they going to seriously lampshade that Derek is "just the summer intern"... and it's Winter. Also, I'm envisioning the Sunnel or "Solar Collector" as an archimedes fictional solar laser type device. Was Darren von Spraunt German or Dutch? (or any other germanic lineage) I was having a hard time placing Ian's stereotypical germanic-scientist accent.

Also, love "Cacophony Symphony"

I kinda thought we DID when we sent "our summer return to report on the harvest festival"... it's constantly being subtly lampshaded.

Alrighty. I suppose that's fair. Proof that either it was super subtle or I have no grasp of subtlety then.

No, I actually found it kinda sweet too, and he apparently doesn't abandon her... in episode 14, G mentions Joy's asking after a 'stranded' Richter. He may not do the traffic right, but he won't let down that brave little girl.
