While the outward changes are relatively minor, I have made some backend changes that should allow us to deal with traffic spikes a little better.
The biggest change you will notice is that we have officially discontinued the Whatever Thing. Don’t worry, the old WT videos are still available under our new Bonus category in the Archives, but it has become obvious that the WT is not going to continue as a regular update. It is entirely possible that there will be more WT-style bonus videos in the future, but the Bonus designation means that you shouldn’t count on them.
The other major change is that we have removed the comics section. This was a tough decision, since comics have been a part of the site since the very beginning, but most of them are not updated anymore and we felt that they were taking away from our core awesomeness (eg. videos). Speaking of awesomeness, Kathleen’s comic, Korea, is still going strong. You can now access it from the LRR Presents section on the sidebar.
As a housekeeping point, please note that now that the blog is in a more prominent position, most news type stuff will be posted here instead of in the site news forum.
As always, let me know if there are any glitches or weirdness.
…whatever…. no wait! Come back Whatever Thing!

*tear* Whatever Thing
But I do like how the blog is easier to get to. It was easy to skip over before when it was at the bottom of the sidebar.

The podcast is not showing a view count. Not a big deal but it is the only glitch I have noticed.

Aww… But I loved The Whatever Thing. I looked forward to seeing it.
But it is nice to see the blog more central.
