Graham & Paul Let’s Play!
July 21st, 2011

Posted by Graham

Just realized we hadn’t blogged this, so here we go!

After our Unskippable Let’s Play experiment, we’ve been hounded by people asking for more. More Graham and Paul subjecting themselves to horrid games!

And you know what? We actually liked doing it! We must be ill, or something.

Presenting Graham & Paul Let’s Play! (or GPLP, to its friends)

Every so often, Paul and I (and maybe a guest) will subject ourselves to as much of a game as we can take (usually several hours, in our experience) and give you our glorious sorrow all at once. In fact, all 12 episodes of our first endeavour, Venetica, are online already! Check them out here.

Here’s Episode 1, hope you like it:

  1. It was a wonderful couple of hours I spent watching this. I watched it far into the night, later than I should have, so kudos to you. I can’t wait for more of it.

  2. You know, I don’t care if it was a true “Let’s Play” or not, it was entertaining and hilarious. I hope you continue GPLP, LP purists be damned.

  3. I think a guest is a great idea, some periods of the GPLP was boring when Graham had to concentrate on playing but 2 persons that could talk when that happens

  4. I saw your post on SA today – I hope you take the advice – maybe when you start the next LP – post a test post in the Sandcastle and slowly release the episodes. (year weekly might be too slow – but one every 3-5 days might be better for you.)

  6. The sad fact about the Let’s play archives is that they only accept full playthroughs. You can ofcourse post videos on something awful and hope you gain popularity. You can also post them on the Penny Arcade forums (if you gain persmission first). Some of the lp’s there have lasted years! (Fishman’s Xcom playhtough is a good one: http://forums.penny-arcade.com/discussion/70136/the-bastards-have-landed-x-com-lp/p1 ). Hope you make more of these 😀

  9. I’d personally also like to mention that most of those that find themselves with no health insurance are usually students, self-employed and those that are laid-off. More than half in the uninsured are under the age of Thirty-five. They do not come to feel they are looking for health insurance because they are young and also healthy. Its income is usually spent on houses, food, along with entertainment. Lots of people that do go to work either 100 % or part time are not made available insurance through their work so they go without due to the rising valuation on health insurance in america. Thanks for the ideas you share through this web site.
