As you may know, a bunch of the crew have acquired iPhones since they have become available in Canada. The web browser on the iPhone is the best in any handheld device by far, but it does have some limitations. Most notably, it lacks flash capability and is quite finicky about what kind of videos it plays online. This means that it cannot play videos straight off the main loadingreadyrun site. The trick is that the videos that revver hosts for us are actually iPhone compatible, but they just have to be served in a special way.
I have made a special, iPhone optimized version of the site at http://iphone.loadingreadyrun.com. There you can browse and search the entire LRR video archive (the ones that are Revverized, anyway) or listen to any of our LRRcasts. For both videos and LRRcasts, tapping on the thumbnail or name will play the video and tapping on the little arrow with take you to that item’s info page with credits, views, description, etc.

Looks neato but sadly doesn’t work on my Nokia N95, GoRogers gives a 404 and when using wireless it works but can’t play the videos (due to no quicktime support on my phone)
but, looks awesome on my friends iphone, didn’t see any problems

Ya, it’s probably iPhone/iPod touch only, because that’s what I have for testing. If anyone wants to send me another smart phone with a suitable data plan, I would be happy to make other versions.

Wow… I tried it on someone’s iphone a while ago and loved it.
That said, Quicktime complained about the file format of some videos, an example being Phailhaus 11, so I don’t know what the deal is there.

Thank you for making this, it will be used to waste many hours away at work. The LRRcast archive was an ingenious idea. I suspected you guys would develop a video site to work with iphones but the inclusions of all the LRRcasts was a delightful surprise. Fantastic work!

@spartanhelmet: Sometimes it will mess up if Revver’s servers are taking too long to respond. Just try it again and it should work.

Genius, Great Job Paul. it’s nicely set up and is very easy to use, now if only someone could make an app, if only i knew how to use SDK, but this is awesome. i love it.
