Oh my indeed.
First, and most importantly for any local LRR fans, LoadingReadyRun will be performing a 30-40 minute live set at the upcoming Phillips Comedy Night.
If you missed our live show back in 2005, this is the next best thing. We even have a special guest performer you absolutely won’t want to miss. The show is Sunday, Mar 14th at the Victoria Event Centre. Doors are at 8PM, and tickets are $10, ($8 if you’re a student). Details, such as the address, other performers and so on can be found here. Book the night off, bring your friends, and come join us for some laughs and a few drinks.
(The 14th also has the notable distinction of being my birthday, so if you don’t come wish me a happy birthday, I will be very disappointed.)
Secondly, you’ll be pleased to hear that we had an astonishing 102 pre-orders for the Slacking Team Shirt. Orders are now closed, but these shirts are definitely getting a run. Thanks for your interest! We’ll be printing these shirts soon, and I’ll update you when we ship them out.
On that same note, the last of our Science shirt pre-orders should have shipped out today, so if you haven’t received yours yet, fear not it will arrive soon. If you didn’t order a science shirt, but would like to purchase one (or it’s corresponding button), we’ll be adding the remaining stock to our store in the next couple weeks. As indicated, we now only have unisex-black to offer, but it’s a mighty fine shirt with very high print quality.
Finally, I’m pleased to inform you that a new print run of LoadingReadyRun DVDs has been ordered for each of seasons 2, 3, and 4. We don’t have an exact date yet, but they should all be back in stock on our store, and ready for you to buy, by the end of the month!
Thanks everyone, and we hope to see you at the comedy night! You won’t want to miss it!
Like, you really won’t.
Really.
DVDs of Seasons 2 and 3? Hmmm… I don’t have those. If you need me, I’ll be in the Store hammering F5.
Oh, and break a leg at the live show and such.

Damn my location incompatibility with that location and date. Texas is too far away… someone better record this in pristine quality… for serious.
Comment by ZanasoB — March 4, 2010 @ 10:10 pm
As I am in Texas I too am unavailable. Though I would go if I could and I will be cheering in spirit. Happy Birthday Matt!
Comment by J. Edwards — March 4, 2010 @ 10:35 pm
Dammit Texas! The only problem with this great state is it’s location compared to LRR. Oh well. For reals I want to see this stuff.

Any chance of having some footage of the show for us large percentage of fans unable to travel to BC?
…or those who are young’uns who what live with our parents…
(1000 lbs of internet shame dropped on young Iron Pirate’s head that day, crushing his spine to dust. Shameful shameful dust.)
Comment by tfaironpirate — March 4, 2010 @ 11:44 pm
I cannot promise that the performance will be filmed. We’ll see.
That said, you only need regret missing the show if you could see it and didn’t. If you can’t possibly see it, then just ignore the fact that it’s happening at all.
Comment by Matt — March 4, 2010 @ 11:54 pm
Special guest = Andy? …maybe? ’cause for a live show, you can’t get much more awesome than Andy. Its a fact.

Oh I so wish I was on the other side of the continent. Do you guys think you could arrange to do a live set at PAX, specifically next year’s PAX east, that would be so cool (although I do realize that would require getting most of the cast to the other side of North America as opposed to just down the cost a bit.)
Comment by pigmy wurm — March 5, 2010 @ 12:48 am
Yus, I couldnt order the Science shirt due to lack of money on holiday, Now I am back, Black unisex you say, Thats what I wanted anyway. 🙂 Now I just hope you have them in small *please please*, on the comedy night… Im in NZ.. that helps. Oh well I wish the crew luck for it and wish I could go.

Please do another live show in Vancouver. That would rock my socks
Comment by meowmixman — March 5, 2010 @ 1:03 am
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I would loke to get into doing more live stuff in conjunction with our panels. Next year’s PAX East is pushing it a bit for planning, as we’ve not yet fully figured out THIS year’s PAX East, but we’ll consider it.
FYI, everything we do this year will have to fit into a one-hour block, so there will likely not be much time for live stuff on top of the other things we want to show and do (plus the standard Q&A), so we’ll see…
Comment by Jer — March 5, 2010 @ 3:16 am
@meowmixman: Anything in Vancouver is hard, because it requires a lot of ferry expenses (and hotel expenses for hypothetical evening shows). That kinda stuff quickly surpasses the maximum we could hope to take in, and while we don’t need to make money, we couldn’t really afford not to break even … at least not often. That’s not saying “No”, just that it’s difficult. It’s certainly something we’ll consider if live shows become more of a thing for us … which itself is tough, given our rigorous filming regimen.

I will say happy b-day to Matt next week, and I too am geographically unable to make it to the show, but have fun.
-passing yaxley hammering f5- you’ve been at that for some time now. good job.

Happy future birthday, Matt! Do you know when the next shirt model will become available for preorder. That and Season 2/3 on DVD sounds awesome.
Comment by Emperor Gum — March 5, 2010 @ 11:50 am
Matt, do you eat pie for your birthday instead of cake, seeing as you were born on pi day (3.14)? Or is pi day not celebrated in Canada?
Comment by Tarou — March 5, 2010 @ 12:45 pm
Not to be picky… ok, being picky. When are the DVD links going up in the store?
And Happy Birthday Matt. 🙂
Comment by operagirl95 — March 5, 2010 @ 4:52 pm

Comment by Richard Nixon — March 5, 2010 @ 5:01 pm
Aww dang. According to Orbitz, airline tickets to Victoria on such short notice would cost me $915. I’ll have to go another time.
Comment by Evil Jim — March 5, 2010 @ 6:10 pm
I will be buying the full set of DVD’s, hands down.
Comment by Xix — March 5, 2010 @ 10:58 pm
Yay for DVD’s. Even though I am in Japan now, I will buy them and have them ship to my home address in the States. I am happy now =D.
