Live from the show-floor at CEX, its this week’s video!
So the inspiration for this week’s video should be pretty obvious. Like most tech geeks, the Consumer Electronics show always has the LRR crew’s interest. Dangle some shiny new gizmo in front of us, and we’re sure to take note, if not totally fill our collective pants with fanboyish lust. That said, the endless spec sheets and prototype devices are ripe for the riffing. So that’s what we did. Enjoy.
Unskippable this week was Enslaved. You can find that here.
In other important news, we’ve started pre-orders on our brand-new shirt!
Have you ever wanted to inflict cold dread on strangers by forcing them to look at a spectre of doom and creepiness displayed proudly on your shirt? Finally, you can!
The LoadingReadyRun creepy doll shirt has been custom designed for extreme creeping. Choose your options – the ‘Full Face’ design for classic menacing, or the ‘Eyes & Mouth’ design for those interested in stealth creeping. For delicate types interested in a more feminine creep, we also offer the limited edition ‘Ms. Creepy Doll’ shirt, printed on quality American Apparel Classic Girl shirts. As an additional pre-order bonus, each shirt comes with a delightful creepy doll patch, which you can affix to a variety of items to give them a +3 intimidation score.
Note: We have switched to offering girl’s t-shirts on American Apparel Classic Girl shirts – they’re much longer in the torso than the Gildan Softstyle and tend to fit slightly larger because of this. Please refer to the new sizing chart to determine your size.
Additionally, owing to the small (aka: exclusive!) print runs we produce, and costs of materials etc, we’ve had to raise new shirt prices to $20. Sorry guys, it is what it is. Creepiness this good is worth it.
Pre-orders will be available on the LRR store for 21 days (until January 31st).
Cheers!
I wish this came in long sleeve. Ah well. I like it though.

I never noticed until you guys made the ‘Eyes and Mouth’ design, but now all I can think of when I see the shirts is, “Totoro.”
Going to buy this shirt – and see who else (of my friends) thinks it’s Totoro as well.

I concur with the idea of having long sleeve creepy shirts, but this is still awesome. Now I will match my little creepy doll! 😀

I am SO buying this. I’m gonna get both the full face AND the simple eyes and mouth design. As soon as I get paid this week. 😀

Is there a way to know whether the preorder threshold was met?
