Our “Pimped” out bus.

So as you all know we have know been in possession of our glorious bus for about a weeks time now. And while i wouldn’t say we went to town on it, we did make some improvements. They are as follows.

  • Added some stuff to the driver seat and surrounding area. We got a new seat cover, steering wheel cover and new pedals for the gas, brake and e-brake.

  • We had a new Sony CD deck installed on Thursday, which you can see in the pictures of the dash. Minus the faceplate, cause i forgot it inside. Also on the dash you will find, Buddy Christ, another power source, fuzzy dice and a vanilla air freshener.

  • Just behind the drivers seat we have installed a laptop tray, which will enable me to blog and Graham to edit. We also installed a mounting bracket for a camera (it’s kinda hard to see but its there attached to the pole)
  • Below the laptop tray we had another power source installed and you will see sitting next to it the power inverter.

  • The cup holder is pretty self explanatory.
  • And last but not least the “blinds”. Me and Ben spent 3 hours on Thursday cutting and installing those things on every passenger seat window and the back window as well.

So that is the extent of our “Pimping”, a great deal of it was caught on camera. Good news for our Road Trip Documentary. Other than some last minute details, I would say the majority of us are ready to get going on this road trip. Pop back tomorrow around 11:00pm PST for the last update before we head out on the road.

  2. That’s a pretty sweet ride.

Good idea with the blinds, too. The sun is the most annoying thing you’ll encounter on the trip.
