  2. lol Sealand, most people might not get why but I think Sealand is adorable.

  3. I must admit my mind wasn’t prepaired for the randomness of this picture.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this week LRR is about a Sealandish thing 🙂

  4. This must be where they’ve relocated to. Must be for tax reasons…

  5. OIL RIG is *clearly* a reference to the mnemonic: Oxidation Is Loss, Reduction Is Gain (of electrons). Or it could be something else. Since the first person to comment on last week’s preview picture pretty much called it spot on, maybe this is just a random picture from the internet so nobody repeats the guessing.

  9. But it’s not a oil rig. Sealand is a Maunsell Sea Fort…

Also, Alejandros, I think you’re channeling Detective Riley in your post.

  10. Is the underground orbiting moon base going to follow Sealand’s example and recede from Canada to form a sovereign micro-nation? Do it!

  25. ArmandoSC, I’m afraid I’m not as familiar as Detective Riley would be with madmade sea-structures. I get the feeling he’d perfectly rattle off methods of setting concrete underwater before changing tack into the type of stone favoured by Rennaisance sculptors.

  26. First thing I thought is they are building a Giant Nes controller that can be seen from space, and they were in the process of positioning the D-Pad…

… You can’t tell me nobody else wants to have a giant Nes controller that can be seen from space. 😀

    Comment by Daapster — March 8, 2010 @ 3:49 pm

  30. Wow, that’s about as obscure as you can get for that video, short of a picture of a carbon atom.
