Happy Monday!

Once again, Apple products continue to provide a rich well of inspiration for the LoadingReadyRun crew, particularly with this week’s update, iOS8. It’s got all those new features that you enjoy want are told are good ok functional!

On Unskippable, Asura’s Wrath… continues with Part 3 (?!!) I’m not sure if this is still cutscene, or just the actual game we’re seeing at this point. Maybe it’s all just cutscenes and QTEs. Which… I guess some people might want? Somewhere? Maybe one person? I don’t even know anymore. Have you played this “game”? How is it? Let us know!

Last week on CheckPoint, there was lots more Destiny news in Your Destiny is Menial, most of it about the loot system. Sure is a terrible game that nobody likes or enjoys at all like, amirite? Hey, stop playing Destiny! I’m talking to you!

And finally, we have a new LRRMtG draft up on MTGO Academy! James and Graham say goodbye to M15 by going mono-red. How does it go? No spoilers, but as you can see in this screenshot, they’re running a Staff of the Flame Magus, so it can’t be going that well.

Sorry to Interrupt
September 22nd, 2014

Hey everyone, Sorry to Interrupt, but this week’s video may contain images some of you find offensive. We are sorry to inform you that Alex wears a tie in this video. We are deeply sorry for any viewers who were disturbed by this portrayal of a thin strip of fabric around a white male’s neck.

Moving on, this week’s Unskippable is part 2 of Asura’s Wrath. Ostensibly, this is an action game, but it features an opening cutscene SO LONG they put anime style commercial bumpers in it. Yes. Ok. Fine.

Crapshots continues to be weird and dark as all get out, mainly because I continued to be involved in writing them. At least The Voice is in a good mood.

With Graham away at the MTGO Community Cup last week, I had to host CheckPoint by myself. The episode, Music for Exposure, turned out well, but it includes about 300% more awkward shuffling than usual.

And finally, the Khans of Tarkir pre-release was this weekend, and we came straight from the pre-release to record a new Tap Tap Concede! What cards were all-stars, what cards made us groan? Watch and find out!

It’s Monday and we’re getting back on the horse after PAX! I hope you like content, because we have a ton of new content for you this week.

First up is a brand new Commodore Hustle Fixing The Steam. It’s time for the streaming office’s bi-annual tuneup, but what will Alex and Cam do while the office is out of commission. And more importantly, what are Paul and Beej even doing in there?

Screen Shot 2014-09-15 at 4.24.14 PM

This week on Unskippable, Capcom has an interesting strategy for the opening cutscene for Asura’s Wrath. Put quick time events in it! You still can’t skip it. And the credits are still rolling. Yup, sure is “gameplay” though.

Now, if you’re subscribed to our YouTube channel (and if not, why not?) you’ll also notice we put up the first new LT in quite a while. Why was Self Driving Car surprisingly annoying to shoot? Watch and find out!

Screen Shot 2014-09-15 at 4.31.22 PM

Warning: the latest Crapshot The Ball is both adorable and dark. It also features the voice acting talents of one of our Kickstarter executive producers, Rachel Bradford! Which voice is hers? The one that’s not Cam, Kathleen, Alex or Paul. 😛

Screen Shot 2014-09-15 at 4.25.41 PM

In podcast news, there’s an all new TapTapConcede with Cam, Kathleen and Alex discussing their first impressions of Khans of Tarkir.

Screen Shot 2014-09-15 at 4.54.00 PM

There’s also an all-new LRRCast featuring questions and answers from Twitter and our PAX recap!

Pandora’s Stabbists
September 8th, 2014

It’s Monday and Monday means a nice fresh cup of coffee, a brand new LRR video and the near-constant risk of death by surprise stabbing. Well, not really, but it might if you live in the Universe of this weeks LRR video, Professional Stabbists.

It’s a brand new “extreme” sport. With much emphasis on the “extreme” and not much on the sport.

Screen Shot 2014-09-08 at 5.19.00 PM

This week’s Unskippable is Pandora’s Tower and it is also EXTREME! But kind of extremely gross, not like, X-Games extreme. Unless you can have an X-Games event where you get turned into a Resident Evil monster. And if you could, I don’t think a lot of people would participate.

Screen Shot 2014-09-08 at 5.07.34 PM

The new season of Crapshots continues to chug along, and Paul’s adventures in time travel continue to be wacky, but generally unproductive.

Screen Shot 2014-09-08 at 5.16.59 PM

And finally, our video for our Khans of Tarkir spoiler card Meandering Towershell (aka, Durdle Turtle) went up, and as you can see, the card is “so Graham.” Whatever that means.

Hey Everyone,

Most of the crew is still at PAX Prime in Seattle, but it will take more than that to stop the flow of new videos!

First up, this week’s LRR video is about an exciting new dating service. Are you having trouble finding that special someone? Maybe the answer is that only one someone is just not enough! Try Third Wheel Dating today!

Last week on Unskippable, we learned about Killzone: Shadow Fall’s the poorly thought out housing solution. This week, we get up close and personal with the wall dividing the Helghans and the Vektans and also get a good look at Vekta’s rather impractical architecture. Check it out in Killzone: Shadow Fall Part 2

And Graham, Kathleen and Tally have some rather disturbing revelations in this week’s Feed Dump: The Ghost of Sexual Relations Past

Screen Shot 2014-08-31 at 9.22.04 PM

Something else that happened this week is that Adam streamed for 36 hours straight! Want to check out his stream? Well, YOU CAN’T! It was live and you missed it! Don’t worry, though, all 36 hours were recorded and will be uploaded to our LoadingReadyLive YouTube cannel just as soon as we can!
