Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen! As you guys have hopefully seen the site has had a minor update to push us to version 5.1. No HUGE changes, a lot of backend stuff that i wouldn’t bore you with even if I had any idea what Paul actually did :P. Onto this weeks video, High Noon. Now it has been said already but we do apologize for the late update with this video but due to certain circumstances (Grahams computer kicking itself in the nuts, a serious lack of RAM in the computer that did wind up editing this video, and the fact that we were out of town all of Saturday) the Friday update was just not in the books. The actual shoot of this video really couldn’t have gone much better. We met up at Graham and Matt’s new place early last week and started shooting around 7:00pm and wraped up around 10:00. When Paul first brought this script in for us to read a couple weeks ago, the idea of going all green screen was probably at the back of everyones minds, however we are all very pleased with the way it turned out and we hope you are as well. Here are a couple of pictures from the shoot. And i realize I still owe you guys pictures from the trip to Nanaimo from this past weekend but I won’t have the free time till after the meeting tonight. So expect them up between 5:00pm and 11:00pm tonight.

While the outward changes are relatively minor, I have made some backend changes that should allow us to deal with traffic spikes a little better.
The biggest change you will notice is that we have officially discontinued the Whatever Thing. Don’t worry, the old WT videos are still available under our new Bonus category in the Archives, but it has become obvious that the WT is not going to continue as a regular update. It is entirely possible that there will be more WT-style bonus videos in the future, but the Bonus designation means that you shouldn’t count on them.
The other major change is that we have removed the comics section. This was a tough decision, since comics have been a part of the site since the very beginning, but most of them are not updated anymore and we felt that they were taking away from our core awesomeness (eg. videos). Speaking of awesomeness, Kathleen’s comic, Korea, is still going strong. You can now access it from the LRR Presents section on the sidebar.
As a housekeeping point, please note that now that the blog is in a more prominent position, most news type stuff will be posted here instead of in the site news forum.
As always, let me know if there are any glitches or weirdness.

Well its late and we are back, but we return with two new friends. Let me be the second to introduce to you them.
From left to right we have Peoples Choice award for Eyewitness Accounts and best writing (3rd year in a row) for Eyewitness Accounts.
So we thank you all for the support you give us guys! And tomorrow (cause its late and i am le tired) there will be pictures from the event.
Pictures for this weeks video will be going up as soon as Graham is able to get the video done and uploaded.
