ROUND 1! FIGHT!

Well, this video is one of Graham’s creations, and honestly, I think it might be his sharpest script in a while (it’s certainly my favorite among recent videos). The sheer density of references and gags per minute is absolutely off the chart. Fear not though, you won’t have to study up on your fighting games to get what’s going on. If you do, however, there are two super obscure references for only the hardest of hardcore fighting game enthusiasts to enjoy. Let us know if you think you’ve found them in the comments.

Unskippable this week is Jumper: Griffin’s Story. In a twist that is a surprise to no one, this movie-licensed game is not very good.

Ways to use a Vuvuzela

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! BZZZZZ!!

Yep. This one’s about as straightforward as they come. Naturally, the World Cup is now over, but given the marketing machine that was this year’s event and the borg-like assimilation mentality that went along with World Cup fever, we know you’ve got a vuvuzela at home that you’re now wondering why you bought and are trying to determine a use for. We thought we’d help you out.

You may be wondering where we found all these vuvzelas – well, it turns out that Toys R’ Us got in on the vuvuzela action this year, selling low cost vuvuzelas to every bandwagon jumper they could find. Or rather, they would have, if they hadn’t shipped 120 horns to our local store the day the world cup ended. Suffice to say, we got a good deal on them.

In other news, this week’s Unskippable is Dead to Rights: Retribution. I hear there’s a doggy in it.

The new episode of commodoreHUSTLE is live, click here to check it out: The Arms Race

Graham here this week, I thought I’d tell you a bit about this video.

It wasn’t supposed to be so hard. But for some reason it was an absolute slog to get this thing finished.

On the Escapist forums, user pigsnoutman noted the following:
“…this should’ve been the Commodore hustle to introduce to the escapist.”

And, interestingly, having been written 4 months ago, it was going to be.

106.7 The Drive

Alrighty-Tighty kids! Today’s video is up, and it’s live! It’s 106.7 The Driiiiiive!

For the record, that’s Dale doing the voice – there’s no filter.

This video has been one that we’ve been trying to shoot forever – months easily. It might surprise you to learn that radio stations which operate as businesses are hard to get into to use their studios as a set. Not impossible, mind you, but hard. In the end we got in touch with our local University radio station, CFUV. With multiple training studios, and recording booths they were able to fit us in without any great disruption to their daily operation. Thanks CFUV! We couldn’t have shot this without you!

Unskippable went up today as well! Today: Lost Planet 2: Part 2
