An Assassin’s Creed info dump, Crapshots and just hacking off limbs!

Hey everyone, it’s Monday and that means it’s time for a blog post detailing a whole bunch of the new videos we’ve put up over the last week or so!

First up on Unskippable, Graham and Paul riff on the opening cutscenes for Assassin’s Creed Unity. You play as some Templars, and they seem to get screwed over, which seems ok, because they’re the bad guys… or are they?

If you’ve been missing Loading Time, you’re also in luck because Ian continues to plow through the might backlog, and brings us a behind the scenes look at Staggeringly Fast Loans. Did you know it was a pain in the butt to shoot? It was!

Also, have you been watching Tabletop Deathmatch season 2? If you like board games you REALLY should be. Especially if you haven’t seen Aguirre! It’s a board game about finding the lost city of El Dorado. And avoiding being assassinated for no good reason!

And finally, there’s like two week’s worth of crapshots for you to watch too!

A good old fashioned B… game?

Hey everyone, it’s Monday and that means new content!

First up this week is Unskippable, where Graham and Paul riff the truly horrendous opening of Alpha Prime. An honest-to-God, B-movie level video game.  Truly, Alpha Prime has it all — a generic plot ripped off from a more competent game, bad voice acting, crummy graphics and stiff, unnatural animation. If it’s kinda crap, this game has it. Delightful!

Did you check out last week’s Feed Dump, Library Pee Sale? Ash and Ian team up to bring you the story of some not-so-bright crooks down in Florida, and a car thief with good taste in music and zero common sense.

Also, don’t forget Crapshots! They update twice a week. Here’s the last three in case you missed ’em!

Hey everyone,

Do you like board games?

Do you like seeing undiscovered board games get the spotlight they deserve?

Do you like Cards Against Humanity?

If you answered yes to all (or any) of those questions, you should really check out Tabletop Deathmatch!

Tabletop Deathmatch is an independent game design contest run by Cards Against Humanity. They assembled a panel of expert judges to pick an exceptional unpublished board game, brought the creators to Gen Con, the biggest board game convention in the world, and then invited us to make a super cool web series out of the contest!

New episodes are going up twice a week, every Tuesday and Thursday on the CAH YouTube channel.

This week we got to meet Zach Barton and his game Bad Detectives — a game of murder and police procedurals.

We also take a look at Adam Rehberg and his game Brewin’ USA, a game about staring your own craft beer empire.

My beers shall rule the earth!!!!

Hey everyone! It’s Monday and that means new videos! First up this week is Unskippable! Graham and Paul riff the opening cutscene of Sacred 3. I fully admit I know very little about this game, but judging by this cutscene, I’m extremely surprised that this is the third game in the series. Luckily, the worse the game, the better the Unskippable episode.

Next up is Tabletop Deathmatch episode 2. In this episode we meet Matt Stockwell and his game Charm City Blues. Tabletop Deathmatch updates TWICE weekly! Tuesday and Thursday! Check out the sweet Kris Straub animations!

Last week’s episode of CheckPoint is now online too. Did you know Apple is promoting a strange new type of app — the PAID game? We ask the hard hitting questions like “do 13 year olds even know what a paid game is?” and “what have we become?”

Finally, did you watched the latest Feed Dump? Serge and Paul discover that people from Belarus have weird fetishes.

Hey LRR fans!

Do you like board games?
Do you like Cards Against Humanity?
Do you awesome new shows?

Then you’ll love the second season of Tabletop Deathmatch!

Tabletop Deathmatch is a board game competition and reality web series. Cards Against Humanity put on a contest where game designers with great, unpublished board games could win an all expenses paid, no strings attached first printing of their game. They picked 8 finalists, then hired professional artists and graphic designers to help the finalists bring their games to live, then brought the finalists and their amazing games to Gen Con, where a panel of board game design gods played the game and picked a winner. And we filmed it!

The first episode is live now on Cards Against Humanity’s YouTube channel, and I highly encourage everyone to check it out!
