Re: Loading Time Digest - February 2017
The American Dream trailer didn't go up on the LRR site/channel (since it's not LRR's project), but you can find it here.

Through the website, just select the box that says "All Videos" and change it to "Past Broadcasts". If you mean from the mobile app, I can't see any way to filter out highlights there, sorry.

Re: LRR builds PC's
Anyone looking at building a computer should definitely wait until after AMD's new CPU and Graphics lines are released (Ryzen and Vega). There are no announced release dates yet, but they are expected to be out by the spring. Intel and Nvidia have generally been dominating the mid-to-high end space ...

Re: Request: LRRbot Twitch Prime helper
I believe you have a week after your Twitch Prime sub expires to "re-sub", and it will keep your streak of having subbed for X months in a row. So not hitting the sub button right away isn't an issue. For seeing if you're subscribed so you know to re-sub, when on the LRR twitch page the su...

I'll ask anyway: I have Desert Bus 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 torrents. Obviously, 10 (X) is inbound. The Desert Bus 10 torrent has been out for a couple weeks already. For pre-DB5 content, there is an ongoing effort to track down and archive everything the VST can. Hopefully we can start putting that up be...

I don't remember anything about Limited Returns specifically. When I did a round up uploading screenshots to the wiki (many, many, years ago), I believe I was scraping the pictures LRR used for the video list and carousel on the site to use on the video pages.

My thoughts when watching the trailer was just that it'd be perfect for PAX and other conventions (possibly because I was making PAX East plans at the same time).
I really have no other opinion on it. Looks kind of cool, I suppose.

Re: sWs Ep14 - Summerslam, Backlash, Clash of Champions
I thought the new format held up well, great job with that. By focusing on the PPVs and just summarizing the stories from RAW/Smackdown as needed, it actually made the storylines easier to follow as you gave the whole story up to the PPV milestone in one chunk, instead of skipping between the storyl...

Re: Canadian Electoral Reform Survey - Please Pass it On!
Yeah, declining the ballot has to be a secret choice. In regards to the security of electronic voting again - I've seen some people say that well if banks are secure enough to use online, why not voting? Banks are obviously high-value targets where security is of utmost importance, after all. Well, ...

Re: Canadian Electoral Reform Survey - Please Pass it On!
Oh, and of course the other proposal being debated is mandatory voting. I'm... not sure about this one. I can see arguments for both sides (so long as mandatory voting comes with the option to spoil or decline your ballot). What do we all think? I'm for some acknowledgement of one's "civic dut...

Re: Canadian Electoral Reform Survey - Please Pass it On!
Even assuming it is possible to have secure online voting, I have zero faith in any organization to actually implement such a system. Having eyes on physical pieces of paper is (oddly enough, in this day and age) the most practical way to secure the transit and collation of votes.

Both American and Association Footballs have the same mass, and appear to be kicked with around the same amount of force. So I'm going to guess both, at once, along with a Rugby ball for good measure.

Re: Television We're Watching Now
"Threshold" was later declared non-canon, and some minor lines later in the show make explicit that it's not in continuity. As for TOS, it actually used a different warp scale than TNG-era. Warp 5 in TNG and on is significantly faster than Warp 5 in TOS, for example. Though as always, how ...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure all the pages and content are still there, it's just that with unicode handling messed up, we can't get at them through the browser.

I can access the Phailhaus directory page when I'm not logged in, but when I am logged in it gives me that error Robo4900 posted. The individual Phailhaus pages seem to be landing on a redirect page from when Silverfish moved those pages a couple years ago to fix a prior issue with unicode mangling,...
