Re: LRR Minecraft Server
60 USD/month seems like a lot for those specs. For example a comparable server at Hetzner (the current hosting provider for LRRbot) costs 20 EUR a month and I bet you can find something in that price range in North America as well.

Re: LRR Community Streamer
After a little work, leg_bot has now been upgraded to be database agnostic, that is, it can run on SQLite (as it used to) or MySQL (as it now does). I might look into ensuring it can also run on PostgreSQL, but that's something I have absolutely no experience in. MySQL is toilets. Use Postgres. MyS...

Re: LRR Community Streamer
So some of you might have noticed that LRRbot is now following you. This is because LRRbot now has a real `!live` command, mainly because the URL was quite shady and it didn't include the new streamers. It is automatically adding everyone on the calendar and I have added everyone from leg_bot's list...

Re: LRRBot 2.0
2. Do you, the viewers, care enough about having the archived chat to make it worthwhile to try to do this? From what I see from the logs the archive it's the most used feature of LRRbot's website. The main problem is matching up the video IDs to times... not just a case of snipping out the intro/o...

This seems to work. For those who didn't know, LRRbot keeps chat logs so you can watch the replays as if you were there.

http://qrpth.eu/prism/. If I don't fall over after watching Cam's Civ: BE stream until 04:00 there'll probably be a search box as well. It now has search. I should probably stop writing text half-asleep.

Alex met a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. named Valik Cheburashka. I wonder if he is in the Exclusion Zone because he fell into a crate of oranges and couldn't get out.

Re: LRRBot 2.0
I have spliced together the LRRbot and the Python's built-in web server . The command list is generated from all commands the bot recognises, the statistics page is at most thirty seconds out of date, the notifications page displays the subscriber's avatar and the archive RSS feed produces valid RSS...

blip.tv got acquired and deleted 70TB worth of videos. The Archive Team managed to rescue 7TB. Sadly the GPLP wasn't.
