I'll be honest, when Sadie said her husband pulled the balls out on television I thought we were going to a whole other place.

Roadie lands. Check-one-two
Hands up lands. Second base.

I think I'm going with charm lands. Needs to be a single syllable, not just one word.

I love the idea of the senior citz MtG game, especially since they'd have been ... Not young? ... when magic first came out.

To be fair, it's not like pigeon looks like it should be pronounced "pigeon" either.

Otherwise moosefilledkitten said what I came to say.

how do you try to judge that? based on their previous actions in the series? IANAK (I am not a Kathleen (but I play one on TV)) but well-written fictional characters have established motivations, character traits and flaws, biases, strengths and limitations. Bad writers will break these in service ...

Re: Magic Origins Pre-release. How'd you do?

3 events for an overall 6-6, but went 0-4, 3-1, 3-1. Midnight: Blue, promo Jace. Terrible pool, i think. A few decent cards in every colour and no support. Tried to go blue black control. Basically every game went nearly to time but I lost 2-0 every time, not sure I even dealt any damage. Was seriou...

Re: Friday Nights - Archfrenemies

So, was the Magic Origins preview explicitly based on the previously mentioned neural network results published on mtg salvation? If so that's a decent turnaround on the episode production. Honestly, this may be one of the best ever. Great interactions in the archenemy games, topical, loved the stin...

It seems likely, Memo. Compare darksteel citadel from before and after Indestructible was added as a keyword ability (e.g the original versus the M15 version.)

I have an update to my earlier situation of Phantasmal Image copying a Mutavault. In our legacy tournament yesterday my opponent had humility on the board. How does this affect the image? (This resulted in multiple successive judge calls :) )

Just scored my second ever 3-0. For probably the first time ever in a draft, things were just going beautifully. P1P1 mulldrifter, P1P5 and P1P7 thrumming birds. Drafted a BUG control pile and ended up running this lean Simic graft control deck: http://i.imgur.com/xyFNQF7.jpg I made a few loose play...

Re: Modern Masters 2015 Discussion

Played a 4-player casual midnight launch draft. We each pulled one of cryptic, kiki-jiki, mox opal, emrakul. Went BG tokens. Not enough removal, couldn't get enough blue to do proliferate. Never saw emrakul but got to punch with kicked kavu primarch and gnarlid pack a few times. Seems like it should...

$50 most places in adelaide and melbourne, keep what you draft, 2/1 packs to the winner/second.

Things I want to do:

Splinter twin on mulldrifter.

All in on thrummingbird proliferate/graft.

Hurkyl you?

+4 Karn - Emrakul, -14 Karn (yeah...that's not happening)

Two color with a splash seems the way to go. So many good cards.
