Create of Keys
So I have this idea for a project I would like to do. A couple of time Alex has said about The Crate that it would be neat to have a small one on his desk and I really liked that idea. For Christmas I will get a 3d printer so my idea is that I will print a small Crate and then fill it with different...

Re: Initial stages of creating a game
when you envision the game, what kind of game is it? does it look like early final fantasy with turned based combat or does it look like skyrim? or is it a visual novel/dating sim? These hava huge differences in terms of scope and requirements that one needs to know this before giving any kind of ad...

Re: SpellCasters
Im just going to continue updating the progress on the thing here. Its pretty much a dev diary to keep me going with it and actually finish it. So this is the current "design" of it. http://i.imgur.com/pXR6Kt2.png The text area is more or less designed to be the textprompt from rpgs and th...

Re: Desert Bus getting a VR remake.
If they are savvy with the current gaming culture they should make it exactly like the old game but the bug splat, car freshener and day/night cycle are separate pre-order exclusives depending on platform. And the bus stops are dlc.

Re: SpellCasters
I like the heat idea. It can be implemented with a very minimal amount of counters. You can have one status counter that encompass hot/cold/wet where each frost damage attack bring you further along the cold axis and at certain points penalties are added. for example after a number of frost attacks ...

Re: SpellCasters
Some examples might be useful... Magic Missile: "Projectile of pure magic that always hit its target unless blocked. Low damage and low mana with a short casting time" Stone skin: adds moderate armor(secondary health meter) to the wizard but adds slowness to the next spell cast due to the ...

SpellCasters
So... During the holidays I started a small project to learn developing for android and mobile phones in general. I went trough a bunch of prototype games that turned out to have a too large of a scope for a single developer. I have now arrived at a game that I may have a chance of making playable w...

Re: LRR Minecraft Server
I am not great on the technical aspects of this but is it possible to run other games in tandem with the minecraft server for short periods of time? for example then the patreon goes over the set amount we could for example run a rust server for a month next to the minecraft server. Next month you c...

Re: Starbound - Anyone playing this on-line?
I tried to start playing it a while ago but my laptop cant run the game at a satisfactory framerate (wich is weird because much more impressive games run fine). We shall see once I get home and try it on my main compter.

Re: so I humbled a pathfinder bundle.
That is quite alright. Thanks for asking. I am going to nag my friends and see if we can do something. If people here are interested we could start a campaign here. It might not be the best idea to GM a game before I have played the system but someone needs to do it and at point i find the GM stuff ...

Re: so I humbled a pathfinder bundle.
@Jokke yeah thats the one. I bought the big bundle by matching the avarage. Now that the bundle seems to have ended I might be able to actually download some of it in a timely manner. Paizo did not spring for extra server capacity during the bundle. Im going to look into the GM guide and see if I co...

so I humbled a pathfinder bundle.
It was a complete impulse buy and now I need to justify it in some way. In this endevour I have some questions Are there any important books that were not included in the bundle. Have anyone tried paticipating in a "random"/stranger campaign on roll20 and what was the general experience? W...

So... since the interest of the minecraft server seems to be a bit down latetely I tought I would use this thread to suggest something similar. Have anyone tried Starmade? Its pretty much minecraft in space with some really neat things. It has an extensive build helper that saves you a lot of tediou...

Could someone PM me the coordinates to the stronghold? I'm not going to open the End or anything but i want to set up a base of operation near it because I'm going in to build as soon as the dragon is killed. I have tried getting to it trough the nether but i cant find the alleged path there.

I tried to play it but i got stuck on the tutorial mission because they are horribly designed. I like the aestetic part of the game but the game parts have a severe lack of direction. chucklefish is basically a company of artist that sort of like game design and programming which is why there are li...

Re: Help with Baulder's Gate
The only stats you really need to look at is armor (low as possible) and the dice of the attack (like any rpg). There are a bunch of other stats like tac0(or a variation of that spelling) but that is as good as possible as long as the character has the weapon with the most stars. The system itself i...
