Re: LRR Community Streamer
So I'm wondering if the Fanstreams shouldn't have their own place on the board, other than general chat? Someplace that those of us who want to make this a serious aspect of our time and internet persona could advertise not only our streams but also our other content that we produce, and any collabo...

Re: LRRcast - Cellphone Home Screen Part 2
Kathleen and I are similar in our use of home screens - mine is super compact.
The only thing that I would add is; As someone who does use the default iTunes music player, it actually -does- sort by Artist, or by Album, or by Songs - not just by songs. It might not have originally, but it does now.

Re: LRR streaming setup (as of 2014-08-26)
I've got a question for Paul; I'm trying to set up a similar but more compact system for my console streaming, and I've got most of the issues worked out or with a tolerable workaround - The one thing I can't figure out is how to get around the HDCP of the PS3. You said that the streaming setup uses...

Re: Crapshots - Volume 3
"I'm going to go get my dick wet" is not a phrase I ever thought I'd hear coming from Paul.
It has left me uncomfortable and confused, as if I've been placed in a glass cube and dumped in a shallow pool.
Still, I laughed, so thumbs up.

Why post if you're just saying you're not going to read the article, Korvys...?
Anyways, I read it - and It's a good discussion starter, I only hope it starts a good discussion and not an argument. I think you summed up Alex's concept of Steve very well, Garwulf.

Re: Low-No Magic Campaigns
I'm actually currently working on a GM document for a Bloodborne Module in 5th ed, which is going to be a low-magic module, and one of the things I've done is restricted magic using classes to the Sorcerer, who is only a 'Paleblood' variant of the Dragonblood archetype, the Warlock who is restricted...

Re: Describe your last tabletop session
We just started a Warcraft RPG game and the party is a Night Elf Runemaster (Monk-like class) named Nightstalker, a Gnome Tinkerer named Wrench'em Gnutz, and an undead Necromancer named Baron Monforte, with his skeleton servant Reginald. Wrench'em and Monforte are both insane, and Wrench'em's Tea-ke...

Re: LRRPG - Loading Ready RolePlaying Group
So we know for a fact we want to do 5th ed, let's try to fire off a 5th ed campaign first and if we can successfully get it running then we'll look at starting a second system. We're also pretty much going to use Roll20 - We can also use myth-weavers for our character sheets. We still need to finali...

Re: LRRPG - Loading Ready RolePlaying Group
So I think we're pretty solid on these systems: D&D 5th Ed World of Darkness And we could probably do all of this via Roll20 - We may wish to create a google circle or hangout group for LRRPG For 5th ed, there are a couple of pre-build modules we could run if people don't want to create somethin...

Zach Sherwin for those of us who enjoy the art of rap and hip-hop, and not the drama.
Not sure how many folks here are aware of him, but he's one of my favorite youtube artists.

Re: The Sex Thread 2: Because Two Hands Are Better Than One
D-do we need to take Elomin to flirting bootcamp? I used to think I couldn't flirt, but then I got married and was told by my wife that I flirt all the time without realizing it. Apparently just being friendly, cracking jokes, and enjoying a woman's company without overtly demanding sex counts as fl...

So, of the schedules we've gotten so far: Thursdays at 8AM UTC-5 is 9PM UTC+8 and 7AM UTC-6 which works for myself, theknightofiron, TStodden, and presumably eostby. We can adjust the actual hour in further discussion, but that's four players potentially - just needs a DM if that works for everyone....

I have many fond memories of the Escapist, I've been a member of the site since way back when they had a partnership with G4 and showed previews of ZP on air, so let's try to not beat up on them too much. Still, it is sad to see it going through a rough patch. I didn't even know Greg Tito has been l...

I think some of the hate comes from it being a stand-alone Final Fantasy movie with no tie ins to any of the games? Not sure, it's been a while since I saw it last but I remember enjoying it when I did. I'll have to find it and watch it again. Then again, I tend to be able to find enjoyment in movie...
