Re: Tiny Leaders
I was about to say, "Birthing Pod isn't legal in Tiny Leaders". But it's more Podless Pod with a combo kill, I guess.

I actually had a spreadsheet ready that went by pick order. But this is also handy.

Re: Standard Pauper Rotisserie Draft - Who's In?
That's kind of what the whole "take our time" thing in the first post meant. Not everyone here lives in the same timezone. It'd be unreasonable for me to organize an event that requires a specific day and time. Plus, that's how the recent Modern Rotisserie Draft did it.

Re: Standard Pauper Rotisserie Draft - Who's In?
The only thing I ask is that if you sign up, you see this through to the end. I'm fine with participants taking their time, but I'm not fine with people flaking out. Make your picks. Work out a reasonable schedule with your opponents. We'll be fine. If you want to draft something ridiculous and off ...

Standard Pauper Rotisserie Draft - Draft is in session
So, inspired by the recent Friday Nights, I thought it'd be entertaining to organize a Rotisserie draft here on the LRR forums. But first, a few issues that need to be resolved: ⋅ How we play. I was thinking XMage, since it is cross-platform and has its own MtGO-style rules engine. However...

Re: Magic the Gathering: Ask a Judge
Actually: http://magic.wizards.com/en/articles/ar ... 2015-01-14 There are no cards in the Fate Reforged set that would turn a face-down instant or sorcery card on the battlefield face up, but some older cards can try to do this. If something tries to turn a face-down instant or sorcery card on the ...

Re: Deck Help
Looking at the number of precons you bought there, I can't help but think you would've spent less just buying the individual cards you needed online. Here's a B/W Warriors deck I brainstormed up one night: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/04-04-15 ... -warriors/ Now putting aside the pricier cards lik...

GP Atlantic City: anyone going to be in the area?
So, this has been the first year I've taken the time to go to any GPs in my area. GP NJ was a hoot, even though I only played in Sealed side events. This time, with GP AC (the poor man's GP Vegas!), I'm going to try the main event since it is Limited. Anyone here also going to be in the area? Curiou...

Re: A Swiftly Tilting Cameron
So, I know Cam typically doesn't take suggestions on games to play on stream, but having finished this game and enjoying it immensely, I thought I'd give it a shot for the suggestion box if he ever tires of Bloodborne. Codename STEAM for the 3DS. Little game by Intelligent Systems, a studio that Nin...

Would you like to play along with last night's draft? Well, I was 3 seats over from Graham & James in that 8-4, so I can give you an opportunity to play along from my perspective. Woukd you have done the same as me? http://www.raredraft.com/watch?d=kdy39

Re: Commander/EDH Deck Talk
Most Damia decks I've seen are just hardcore control to take advantage of her draw power, maybe with a combo finisher. Counters, kill spells, board wipes, discard... usual U/B/G control stuff.

Re: TTC - State of Highlander
Just a minor note to James about Butcher of the Horde: from what I remember from listening to Constructed Resources, there was a pretty big period in standard where Mardu Midrange was rumbling on equal footing with Abzan Midrange. It was Butcher of the Horde vs Siege Rhino, Anafenza vs Goblin Rabble...

Re: The Limited thread
Regarding Green, I guess my weakness in my knowledge of the format hurt me. How often are folks triggering Formidable in Limited? Also, I'm still learning to appreciate Fight cards. It seems chancy to rely on it as removal, since my opponent could just bounce or destroy the creature I control in re...

Apparently, Memo and Adam switched minds. Memo was taken over by ZA GREED. (Though I do see a good R/W deck in that pool.) So, yeah, if you want to follow along with my draft while I try to edit the video and upload it to YouTube , here's the thing on this site called RareDraft . And after you're do...

Let's play "Build a Better Deck!"*snip* 2 things: Shadowspear isn't as good as she appears. Yeah, you think "as damaging as a 2/1 for 1", but then she just gets blocked by a random bear or morph and then you're sad-pants. Even worse when drawn after turn 1. She just isn't a good...
