Re: The depressing depression thread

It's not "real" because it's basically the mental illness equivalent of #FirstWorldProblems. It's not serious, it doesn't impact my life in any meaningful way, it just... kinda sucks. That's it. Again, that doesn't make the problem less real. You apparently would like to be able to just e...

Re: Knocking on Death's Door

He was already being lowered in real life when his cable came loose. I thought about changing it for 'artistic' license. I actually had to look up what this was about. Now that I've done it I'm not entirely sure making that joke wouldn't just be in poor taste. It'll certainly be taken that way by s...

Re: The depressing depression thread

(Yes I'm aware this isn't a "real" problem. You don't have to remind me.) Wtf is "not a "real"" problem supposed to be? If it's a problem to you then it's a problem. Maybe not one many of us would personally consider but a problem nonetheless. And I for one can see whe...

Re: Knocking on Death's Door

I'm trying to work out which would be 'funnier', Death pushing Owen or slicing his cable. Given that Owen has already started descending (According to your own notes at least) pushing him isn't really going to do anything. Slicing the cable would work better I think. And damn, it's been almost 8 ye...

Seems the File Allocation Tables got corrupted... Great.
I am currently using a file recovery program to hopefully save some data, but it seems the disk may be doomed. And it was practically new :(

Re: Venting Thread Delta - Now With Easy to Follow Rules

Great, and now my backup disk (Which also contained some stuff I don't have anywhere else anymore) became disconnected and dropped to the floor while I was accessing it. It generated some windows errors and now it won't even open at all. It just freezes windows explorer when I plug it in...

Re: The depressing depression thread

I hate myself. For the last 2 weeks I´ve been lethargic and lazy. I just can´t motivate myself to do ANYTHING. I go to work, come home, waste away all my time browsing useless internet site after useless internet site, go to bed way too late, wake up tired and repeat the whole damn cycle over again....

Re: The depressing depression thread

Screwed up pretty bad on Friday. I had to retake an exam for University that I've failed the first time. Was pretty stressed out about it and completely misunderstood the instructions in my state of mind. So the most likely outcome is that I have to retake this thing again. That means instead of ju...

Re: LRR/DB EU Meetup

I might be interested, but it does depend on the cost of hanging around and my work schedule (starting a new job at the end of the month, so don't really know where that is going to take me)

Re: Politics and the Vague Fear of Something Called Donald T

It is not a win for Ukraine. That depends entirely on context and what particular Ukrainian is involved. Most of the trade treaty is already in effect and will most likely stay in effect. The only thing not happening for now is the visa free travel, military agreements and certain financial support...

Re: Politics and the Vague Fear of Something Called Donald T

Welp, not really trump related but certainly politics. The Netherlands voted against the EU treaty with Ukraine in a non-binding referendum. I count that as a win but politically its going to get very interesting.

I'm sure there are plenty more synths to annihilate before they can be taken off the list. (Also, I thought it was a specific lot of synths at a particular location?)

Re: The depressing depression thread

Someone told me today that my depression may be a result of me being vegan. In blood tests I have no issues, and I was very depressed way before I became vegan. Re: Politics and the Vague Fear of Something Called Donald T

The way I see it now the end result will be Trump v. Clinton. And Trump just gets trounced in the actual election. Thing is, everyone was saying Trump would get trounced during the pre--presidential-election election back when it started. Now it's looking like he's going to win that. I don't think ...
