Re: Can we intelligently discuss civilian gun ownership?
That's exactly what I said. They don't have to. they probably should, but most won't train. --- The problem being that 'professionals' are the vast, vast minority. Also, since when did the enthusiasts train the professionals? Their was some of that before WW2 and probably WW1 A war's kind of an exc...

Re: Can we intelligently discuss civilian gun ownership?
Given what I have seen on TV of protesters, on the left or right of US politics, I could see why you would not want to visit here. However I would consider most of them extremists not average.

Re: Can we intelligently discuss civilian gun ownership?
I've always really been cautious of ever visiting the US because of the images I've seen of average people readily wandering around with guns, let alone a fucking AK-47! The one Australian military rifle I have personally held is a restricted firearm and is always stocked away in padlocked boxes un...

Re: Can we intelligently discuss civilian gun ownership?
Not to mention, I would be conceding even further power to my government. I'm not comfortable with that. I've always wondered, why? Say you trust your neighbor, maybe not with your life, but say to tell you when someone tries to break into your house, and if you're not available, to call the police...

Re: Can we intelligently discuss civilian gun ownership?
It's automatic weapons and handguns that need to be dealt with. Automatic weapons have been dealt with. You have to register with the federal government, give up your 4th amendment right, in addition to the costing between $10,000 and $15,000. That's not dealt with. Hmm, the phrase 'dealt with' can...

This video is listed as either 28 or 30.... WHAT HAPPENED TO 29?! I NEED 29! I NEED IT FOR MY ETHYL GROUPS! Unfortunately number 29 was stolen, along with Kathleen's relatively new MacBook Pro it was being edited/stored on. Which was why their was a reference to her new laptop in the text for this ...

Several who signed that stated that they were for Network Neutrality, but against the reclassification due to what would be allowed even though the current FCC staff say the are not going to enforce under the section it would be under. This whole thing has been another example of how much fail is in...

Spam bot lured me to a web site, the chicken is just too good. Dam them for building one a mile away from my house. Why must they follow Target every time a new store is built Chick-Fil-A will put one in front like Star-bucks puts a shop inside.

If only the number of dumb laws were as low as fifty, even only fifty being passed in one year would be an improvement.

Re: Installation Anxiety 2010
I'm having trouble understanding why some people here feel that LRR owe them anything. They made the video they wanted. They had reasons behind releasing it on a Monday. And most of all they are proud of it. There is no shortage of LRR content, the crew makes damn sure of that. If we can't let LRR ...

Re: Installation Anxiety 2010
Sorry, but the line deliveries? Really? The original had some really awkward deliveries. This version is vastly better delivered owing to our improvement as actors. Nostalgia is fine, and liking the original is fine too, but this version has better acting. Sorry, I did not mean their was not improv...

I had not seen the original before today so totally glad the remake (I have watched a lot of your back log but have not finished since just started watching about a year ago). It does show how you guys have made improvements over time to the audio and visual quality of the final product. I can see w...

It seemed like it was going to be a game about zombies with the way so many of the female characters heads were moving after the scene with the lady on the tree.

Oh 3D, you are not content enough ruining movies and pushing back there release, but you also want to do that with games, aren't you just a go getter? Even with all the potential autostereoscopic 3D has, it should be all or nothing. Devs are gunna have one hell of a time making games for this now. ...

Re: Mega man movie released
It was better than I expected from the direction of the thread but probably should have been more aggressive on editing parts out; it seems like at least 20, maybe around 30 minuets could be cut without affecting the core story line they had going. Thought that can be harder when everyone in the pro...

Re: Organ donation should it be opt out instead of opt in
The main question would be one how many people would stick with the default selecting, since many people from the current system would probably make the same choice they currently do. Few years down the road the stats might change with people just saying leave it the first time and running with that.

You don't need a protector, it's scratch-resistant glass. I assure you it will be fine. I've never had a protector on my iPhone and in the year and a half that I used/dropped it, it's spotless. Mine was spotless too after almost one year, then dropped face down on concrete (yesterday). Not covered ...

Re: I got robbed, and I need help!
I just don't understand why Canadian prices are way higher when the dollar is at par now. That is slightly ridiculous. Their are some Canadian taxes on computers, electronics and storage devices that we don't have in the states (and can varry by city), but I don't know if that could account for the...
