Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
Likely it's a specific ad that causes the problem, since I believe they're regionally targeted, and I've never had that problem.

Amusingly, I got that message trying to post this.

Consider this signature a museum piece, since I love it and am unlikely to change it ever.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
For the past few days (yes I realize it's prob from updating the site) every time I try and get on the site it won't load or it has an SLQ error and says contact server. I'd say this happens 7 out of 10 times I try and get on the site lately.
Maybe I just come here too much.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
The front page simply looks weird and jumbled with vid links over top of the blog. Doesn't bother me much as I generally jump right to the forums.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
Anyone else had problems with the forums not e-mailing notifications on subscribed topics since 7.0 went live? Or maybe it's just that where I live is randomly blocked from accessing the site.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
Posts in the Unskippable and ENN forums don't currently contribute to your post count. More confusing than troublesome, really.

Some of my pm's aren't going out, and remaining in my outbox. It makes running a Mafia game quite troubling.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
That's possibly just because they remain in your Outbox until the first time someone reads them.
Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
The Unskippable forum seems to not be counting towards post counts. Not a big deal, just curious. Might be the same for all of the video forums.
Example:
http://loadingreadyrun.com/forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=5047
http://loadingreadyrun.com/forum/search.php?author_id=5047&sr=posts
New forum member, has 2 posts, only one counted in profile.

Now, this could be on my end, but all of my ads are broken in the forum.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
Normally one does not complain about broken ads.

Agreed.
I did see some errors, though mine were 'timeout' errors for the ads. Nothing wrong with them now...

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
I wasn't really complaining, and they're back now, but because they were broken, my page was taking a while to load, so I thought I'd point it out.
Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
There seems to be a problem with some videos. I just tried to play Bump in the night and the page... didn't load in a normal manner:
http://loadingreadyrun.com/videos/view/ ... -the-Night
On TOP of that, the video was of some... spanish person? Doing something in MS Paint and then it seemed to move onto another video about some japanese people...
Just thought I'd bring it to attention here...

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
This is a known problem for all the videos hosted by Blip.tv
Every now and then they have a database error and show some random php errors and then show the wrong video. Try back after about 15 minutes and all is well.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
Sometimes it take multiple tries to load pages on the sight. I'll click on a link and it will load the bar at the top bar("About, Videos, ext") and video box then just poop out and leave the rest of the screen either blue if it is on the forums or white on a video page and say that it is done. If I refresh the page once or twice it will usually fix it's self but it has been happening pretty consistently, for example when I was trying to figure out what color it left the screen I just opened a new tab on the forums (which worked) and then clicked on the "videos" button, which didn't.

Okay now this is weird. So I clicked on a video and this happened, but the video still auto played, but since the screen was white I could only hear it (which was hilarious because it was a man cooking).
