Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
Apparently, phpBB3 uses a different system to determine what posts are "new" then phpBB2 did. I have looked all through the config screens and the phpBB support forums, but no one seems to have a solution to put it back to the way it was (they feel that this way is better), so I think we are just going to have to deal with it.
If anyone has experience with phpBB3 or has some insight into how to change this, feel free to drop me an email ([email protected])

Is it really such a hassle to click "mark all forums read" before you logoff?

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
I like the phpBB3 method more. My only issue is that the icons that denote read and unread posts are the reverse of what they were before the upgrade.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
When I reply to a post I next to always get a message saying that a similar message has already been posted to this thread (then it links to that post, that ooks nothing like mine). So I have to resubmit it, but sometimes it pops-up again and I have to re-re-submit my message just to get it to post

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
The little page icons that show whether a post or thread is unread? The colours where switched during the upgrade. Previously blue was read and white was unread. Now white is read and blue is unread. If you do not believe me look at the screen shot of the forum on Paul's personal website.

Yeah, that screwed me up the first couple days too. Now I'm used to it though.

Chrusher, can you screen shot what you're talking about? The only icons I notice are the light blue circles and triangles.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
Well, most forums have them, because of how useful it is. I don't think I could get by without it.

Making a post has crashed my browser twice today. Also, am I the only one who sees every line of text centered instead of align left? It's really annoying.

What OS/Browser are you using? Is everything up-to-date (security patches, latest Browser release, etc.)?

Mac OSX 10.5.7 and Opera 9.22. After checking my browser version I realized that I have Opera 9.27 downloaded but not installed. I'll try updating but I somehow doubt that will fix it.
EDIT: Aparently it's been a while since I last updated as the latest version of Opera is 9.64 (but they update as often as the PS3 so that could be a 2 months of updates). Stuff seems to be aligned left now, and submiting this edit will test to see if it crashes.

There appears to be something horribly wrong with the BIOSHOCKED video.
Theresa large list of errors on the page, and then a 20 seconds video of a guy speaking spanish.

I'm not sure who to ask or where to ask, but I reached 1000 posts today, and I was wondering how I get the medal.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
Just a quick question... how can a 'guest' be browsing the Runners subforum? I thought you'd have to be logged in to get there.
Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
You can browse it, but it will turn up empty I guess. ( the default, "You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum." msg. )
