Hey peoples,
Alright, so, having an issue with Team Fortress 2 and was wondering if perhaps one of you lovely folks could suggest a fix.
A friend of mine was trying to set up a dedicated server for him, myself and his sister to play on. Problem is whenever I went to try and join I couldn't find the server on the listings. To top it off neither of them were showing up on the 'friends' tab and whenever I tried to join their game via steam all I got was 'Server not responding' along with the IP address for the LAN they were using previously.
Now, from what I can gather he'd set it all up so it shouldn't have been dedicating the LAN and did everything that most online topics suggest (and his firewall etc. was fine too).
So...yes...suggestions? We're kind of at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Otherwise I'll have to look into the vanilla server or something.
Cheers,
Fenrir

Re: TF2 Help
Are the ports forwarded in your friend's router? If not...
- Open an Internet browser and go to 192.168.0.1
- Find the "port forwarding" feature. It may be under Advanced.
- Forward these ports: TCP/UDP 27015-27020
- If there are any other options, fill them in. For example, if it asks for the internal IP address, put in the internal IP of the server. Give the rule a name like "TF2" and hit save.
There was a computer stats image here. It's gone now. Thx, WhatPulse.
