I'm so totally in so looks like it's filled. I was planning on running a Dread Necro if that was fine with you if not I'll just go with something Core.

Edit:Speaking of which does anyone know the starting gold for a Dread Necro?

you need to submit it to the game, or set it to public preferably the former.

Here's the pic of my toon I drew yesterday and colored earlier: http://vanillajester.deviantart.com/art/Aldous-Weaver-115822968.

See, I can do stuff that I say I will. (I'm really saying that more for my benefit than anyone elses)

If anyone else wants me to draw a pic of their character you just need to drop me a detailed description and I'll see what I can do :)

Here's Aeros

Tell me if I did something wrong and I don't exactly get how to roll for gold.

I'll put some back story in there a little later.

Well you've spent 40 skill ponts when your character is only allowed 32 (6+ Intelligence Modifier(2)=8)x4

And Bard starting gold is 4d4x10 gp, giving a possible maximum of 160. You spent 165 gold, 3 silver and 3 copper (basically 165.33) although if I was in charge I'd say waive the 5g 3s 3c as though you'd scrounged it from someone or busked it. You'd still have to have rolled 160 gold though...

Bards also only get 1 feat at first level, so you'll neev to choose between Toughness and Improved Initiative, although for a bard I'd reccomend Skill Focus (perform - lute).

Also, and I'm probably the only person that'd pick you up on this, but your character appears to only be wearing a chain shirt. Various outfit prices are given on page 129 of the Player Handbook.

I just copied the stats of the character that was made for me. I did add the crossbow and the rest of the additional equipment onto it because I thought that copying the handbook starting equipment couldn't go wrong.

I think I fixed it. I bet something is still off but one step at a time.

Now for a noobish question

Where do I add the +3 from the Skill Focus? In ability modifier or misc modifier?

Misc. and you do get an extra feat for being a human. Really the whole point of being one. And you get a +1 skill point each level, so that's where the extra 4 come in. Yes they do multiply like the rest for the first level. Or maybe it says you start with 4, and get 1 more at each level after the first. Either way you get the same result. So I am saying that the 40 skill points was correct.

Don't forget racial abilities, and don't always assume the other guy is right. I've learned this the hard way, and am having to over come some bad habits as far as the rules go. That also means that I can be wrong at any given...and most... times:P (except for this one, I hope >.>)

I'm going to probably have the bard in my group simply because I love the classes everyone else seems to hate (druids and bards). If that's so then I'll just wave the over cost, and say that everyone just gets max gold on my team. This is because you will need it only because I tend to be a little hard on my players. Don't get me wrong. I want them to succeed, but I also believe that greater conflict=greater fun after success. I like players to be creative in combat. I am expected to hold off, not only from request of josh, but for my own discipline as a DM. Some times I do get carried away, but I'm sure I'll have josh to watch me on that. So does anyone else choose me?! XD

EDIT: Wait that was a 32 not a 36...now I'm all confused. See! I told you!!!! lol

Oooh, sorry. I forgot about the extra feat for being human :/ Sorry. I was helping my brother build his dwarf character before I posted and it was late. My bad.

Also, and I don't know how I hadn't noticed this before, but yeah, humans also get 4 extra skill points at first level. Woops. I have some additions to make to Aldous when the Myth-Weavers site comes back up on Wed :]

http://www.pathguy.com/cg35.htm for base classes I really can not speak any bad about this program, it really really helps to make your character and is about ten times faster.

One more quick question about gold: Joshua, when you made my character sheet, did you already calculate it? Cause you already bought equipment for my dwarf, but I don't see an amount left anywhere. Did the armor, waraxe and shield take it all? I don't really mind, it's just that I'm a little worried about rations.

Aeros has been updated. I would appreciate if someone looked it over to check if it's ok.

I'll probably update his back story quite shortly.
