What Are the Decent Film to Video Game Tie-Ins?

Postby Elomin Sha » 17 Feb 2010, 16:10

I was wondering, not sure if this has been posted before (too lazy to check), which games you all thought were decent film to game adaptations?

For the ones I have played mine would include, as being really good tie ins:
GoldenEye (N64)
King Kong (360)
X-Men Origins: Wolverine (360) - It was what the film should have been

I'm told Godfather I but I haven't played it yet.

I got Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire for my PS2 because it was dirt cheap.

I don't know why but I enjoyed it.

I played nothing but the demo, but the Bourne Conspiracy(?) game was pretty good.

Goldeneye was of course an excellent game, but whether it is a tie-in or not is debatable due to it being released several years after the movie.

Similarly, the Chronicles of Riddick games are quite fun.

Film to Video Game, not Video Game to Film. Also, the AVP movies sucked.

AVP is based on the crossover between the Alien and Predator movie franchises.

Ok, I'll give you that. I just jumped to the 2004 film (which did suck).

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay is widely considered to be one of the best Movie/Videogame titles.

Ah the interrobang...I love that punctuation.

As for AVP, its first iteration was the comics in the late 80s.

A series of games I forgot to mention that actually worked well of giving me the impression that the world was real. Battle For Middle-earth series on the PC.
