Oh.. after loking it up, carmine is the name given to new people, apparently in the first and in know in the second game, both died. this is how they decide if the new new one lives or dies

There are 2 Carmine brothers left. There were 4, one died in the first game (sniper shot after a gun jam) one died in the second (falling into the mouth of a giant worm after a glancing shot whilst falling back to a helicopter, then to be half digested by weird bug things).
So we've got too to get through, unless they forget that, and then I can say 'look, look at this extra 'journal' entry thing you introduced to try and make us care about the characters! Look!

this is the only reason i bought one. everything else on my avatar either came with the system update or has been unlocked from a game, and it will stay that way. i can safely say this because i didn't give into the Fallout 3 stuff
