Playstation 4's Blue Light of Death
So I've been hearing about the pulsating light on the PS4 that can mean any number of errors. Anyone run into this so far? Do you think it could be the new Red Ring?

Apparently, it's a flaw in 0.4% of the PS4s and is the result of a mis-seated HDD. Apparently, it can be fixed by poking the back of it or something like that.
Basically, the problem is only as big as the user is unwilling to poke the back of their PS4.
However, this is all from what I hear, and I haven't actually had any first-hand experiences with the PS4 yet, so I could be wrong.

4000 flawed PS4's on launch day is pretty unacceptable. That's great it's an easy fix people can do in 30 seconds, but this should have been avoided.

It also could have been far, far worse.
Technology has, and always will have, a lot of teething problems. Thing is, ever since the internet and everyone blogging everything right down to what they've had for BREAKFAST! (Seriously. Nobody cares. Stop that.) then the smaller issues are more widepsread and rumours are started and emotions get in the way of facts.
Unfortunately, software has taken a "Let them be beta testers and we'll patch it when we're ready" approach. Hardware, on the other hand, you'll always have a few faulty products. The real issues come from how the company in question handle said issues and what they're going to do to absolve their customers.

Okay, after a bit of research, I'd like to clarify somethings about my previous post...
TotalBiscuit's PS4 is also broken. Apparently, his has a faulty disc drive.
Kotaku's PS4 was broken on arrival, the HDMi jack was bent.
So, it appears that there are more than just the one problem. However, Sony aren't necessarily to blame, since it's not definitely them that made the HDMi jacks, or the disc drives, etc., although the HDD seating is their fault(Thankfully, as mariomario42 said, it's good that that can be fixed easily).
So, perhaps this is a big thing, perhaps it isn't. The best way to find out is to wait for stories to be confirmed/debunked, and for all these problems to be explained.
But until then, speculation!
