Re: Mafia Queue
If one wants to join one of these as a player, is it just to pay attention to when the next person starts one?
Sit down. Get ready. Sit down again!

Re: Mafia Queue
That's right. There's one just recruiting now, with a planned start tomorrow. Generally, there's not much more than a week between one game ending and the next starting signups.

Re: Mafia Queue
So it looks like Elvor is up next (and final) on the list to run the next game.

Re: Mafia Queue
I asked to be put on the end of the list after elvor, but the list was never updated to reflect that. Am I on it?

That said, has there been a bit of a downturn in interest? I've noticed a bit of a drop in people joining games and participation seems a bit low.

I think a break from games might be a good thing too.

Re: Mafia Queue
Sure. For how long? I can spin up my game whenever we start back.

Re: Mafia Queue
I'm honestly not sure. It may not even be necessary to take a break; perhaps others disagree. It was really just a stray thought.

Re: Mafia Queue
Could just be summer breaks, and interest will return in the fall?

I was already thinking I might sit the next one out for a break, so I'd be up for a month or so off.

Re: Mafia Queue
Anyone feeling like starting a new game up? Won't have the issue of a dead week during Desert Bus, and we may be getting some new people to the forum who'll be interested as a result of it. But if people would like to wait a while longer, that's fine by me too!

I don't mind the idea. Are the people next on the list still happy with that?

Re: Mafia Queue
It's not solely up to me of course, but Elvor hasn't spoken up so I'm happy to say AdmiralMemo can go ahead if he likes? If someone else disagrees please say so.

Re: Mafia Queue
Looks like Elvor hasn't been online since the day before my initial post, so maybe we should give him two more days to make it a week, and if he hasn't seen this by then, we can go ahead to Memo's turn? So that'd be the 27th.

Re: Mafia Queue
If it's my turn, can I put it off until the weekend, please? I've got over a week's worth of work to catch up on this week, due to being on vacation during Desert Bus.

Re: Mafia Queue
I can't imagine anyone would take issue with that. Why don't we just say if Elvor hasn't come in here by the time you're ready, you can just go ahead and open signups?

Re: Mafia Queue
What do we think? We floated the idea several months ago and nothing got off the ground then. Is there any interest in starting a new game?

I can probably do it now, if everyone wants... Star Trek Mafia Version 2?
