Re: Resolved
I can safely say that you did NOT lose Australia. Furthermore, making jokes about Julia Gillard is more likely to endear you to us.
I loved the self-referential stinger, but I also loved the bit where Matt was storyboarding the shots as cH itself was actually filming them. That was brilliant.

I wonder who the single Australian viewer in the CH-verse is. I agree, you're unlikely to lose any of us over a Julia Gillard joke.

I know I would never watch some sort of slightly altered real life sketch bit, that's a horrible idea. Though I would like to subscribe to your new SD card mail service.
I may not be funny or witty, but that does not make me less strange.

Re: Resolved
I would guess that you have at least 73 viewers in Australia.
I loved how the stinger handled the 'is there cH in cH?' question that came up in the last cH.

The copyright message at the end says 2012. Was it made before the new year, or did the good doctors LRR forget to update a template?

Also: this video is tolerable and you are tolerable for making it.

I have to wonder how exactly HustleLRR can afford the moonbase and all their fancy equipment with only 73 viewers. Perhaps they're living off the ill-gotten gains of slightlynaughtynuns.com or rent-a-furry?
and now; back to me.

Wait... You mean we did all that Nth dimensional maths on the other thread for nothing?

Not for nothing. Never for nothing. In fact, now I feel we can speculate about the CH-universe's MTGO draft livestreams! Since I'm going to choose to think that's what they were doing at the end there... including getting distracted from it while people watched.
Anyways, most of the video made it feel like everyone was drained to me. I think it seemed most obvious in Graham, but it felt like most of the crew were. Except Matt, but that's only because he's been at University.
Either that or I'm drained and am projecting it on the video.
But even with that feeling I enjoyed the video quite a bit. It had a lot of good jokes to it. The bit about getting a cat for the office and Matt's long speech about... something were really good. I expected everyone else to be gone when Matt finished speaking.
Re: Resolved
The closeup of Matt's mouth as he says "DIAGESIS" will never stop being funny.
Re: Resolved
In the case of this episode, very little at all.Geoff_B wrote:I have to ask, how much of that came from real life conversations? Especially Matt's montage?
Matt's actually doing a master's in digital media, and most of what he talks about during that montage he and I both learned in undergrad film studies (Jer as well). The "Matt comes back from a couple months at school and thinks he's all that" idea is a total fabrication.
My whole resolution thing, also a complete fiction. Though I'm sure James would buy cards with LRR money if we could validate it somehow.
So this episode had less to do with reality that some.

Re: Resolved
Fun episode I liked it allot. I gave up on resolutions a long time ago. I never lasted more than a week tops.
I would like to know if Matt has ever directed a LRR video himself? I know he wrote some but has he ever directed any?

I wouldn't be so sure. The joke was about Julia Gillard and a wallaby. I can easily see how wallaby jokes can go awry.

This is one of the best cH videos in a while. I saw the end joke coming from afar, but it still made me laugh. That's how good you guys are.
