So I have to ask, does this weeks draft count as both Simic and Gruul because it was a GUr or does it not count because it was only a red splash.

Nah, we'll do Gruul for real.
Even beforehand, Simic seemed like it was gonna suuuuuck in RTR.

Also, our deck was bad, but that doesn't mean RTR Simic is good.

I disagree, I think your deck one one or two counter spells, 1 door keeper and one more spiral from being awesome.

LRR awesome anyways.

I think Gruul (maybe with a black splash) could perform pretty well in RTR.

Generally I'm just excited for it cuz I did Gruul at the pre-release and it was a blast

Add the new Zendikar lands you got to the Momir/Jhoira/Stonehewer Giant decks. :)

Your luck with opening packs was almost as good as mine with paper magic.

The Twitch replay cuts from pick 2 of the second draft to ten minutes into round one. I wish their archiving were more reliable.

Man, my Zendikar draft went just as badly. It's such a different format from what I'm used to o_O I mean also my picks and draws were terrible but still!

It's a shame because I love some of Zendikar's mechanics.

Yeah this weeks and last weeks had similar 10 minute jump-cuts in the recordings, but it's the first I've come across it, as I watch 95% of the drafts after the fact due to being in the UK and broadcast generally being anytime 11pm-4am local when I needs my sleepy times.

So you sent out the tweet, "Streaming will happen this week just not 100% when. Stay tuned for time and day!" so I did homework instead of watching live. Then as I am too frustrated to write anymore and I decide to go to bed, i see on twitter "this is the most amazing draft we have ever done anyone who didn't watch it live is dumb!" that may be a slight paraphrase.

:(

Twitch wasn't working for me at all last night so I had to wait till today to watch the replay. I'm beginning to think Twitch hates the east coast or something. Anyway the draft was great and that deck was sick! Can't believe all the great stuff they got passed. :)

It was an amazing deck, and the only match loss was "well, we were playing against super-aggro with a control deck."

For the latest Draft, just for clarification, Clockwork Steed is an uncommon.

Dear Dr. Graham: Did you remember to watch that terrible unicorn ad? If so, did you actively complain about it?

Also, I was teaching a new coworker over Skype today, sharing my screen to show him how to do stuff. While changing tabs to try to find what I was looking for, I ended up temporarily clicking on the latest Thursday Night Draft stream, and he was like "Hey! That's Graham!" Apparently, he's also a LRR fan and loves watching your TNDs.

Also, shouldn't this thread be in the MtG category under videos rather than this one?

Novablast Wurm IS pretty great in Phlottery. If you get an attack off you're pretty much guaranteed to win.

And yea that owl is pretty bad.
