While tidying up my games collection, I stumbled onto a little gem from a while back called Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom .
It's a pretty short game, with a Zelda-y mix of combat and puzzles.
It's only real downfall in my head was that the voice acting wasn't amazing, and the story was a bit cliched, but it's got charm for miles.

Majin is a great game and one I would definitely like to play on stream. I think it might even be in our library from unskippable...

I am very impressed by The Magic Circle.

Poll for what to play next on Things on My Stream: (which will be Wednesday at 12:00 PDT, btw)

(trying out a different poll system that allows people to rank their choices instead of just voting for one.)

Re: Things on My Stream
Is "Enslaved: Journey to the West" supposed to be "Enslaved: Odyssey to the West" or is it another game?
There must always be a Stark in the Moonbase

You're right, it should be Odyssey not Journey. Damn you synonyms!
I don't think I can change the poll once it has been made

Re: Things on My Stream
It's an understandable mistake, since "Journey to the West" is how that story's name is traditionally translated...
While no one overhear you quickly tell me not cow cow.

Now I want to see an in character episode of Checkpoint following The Magic Circle.
"If you're going to have a total breakdown following a 20 development quagmire, 'on the stage at E3' is probably not the best place to do it. This is Checkpoint." <Music>

Re: Things on My Stream
Can i suggest as a next game to play you consider the Dizzy Adventures that were big on the Commodore 64
They are a range of Platform games with a heavy element of Puzzle Solving. The first game was one difficult as you could only carry one item at a time however it set the stage for the series.
Some of the best games in the series are The original Dizzy which started the whole thing, Treasure Island Dizzy which is one of the most famous ones, Dizzy Prince of Yolk Folk is where the Yolk Folk (Dizzy's Family) are first introduced and Magicland Dizzy is one of the largest Dizzy games. The only downside with Magicland is that you need to find all the magic stars to complete the stars.
There is a playable version of the original game out there for the PC at http://www.classic-retro-games.com/Dizzy_171.html which is a PC remake of the original game. I've played it in the past and it's a really good game which can be completed

Not sure if Paul is looking to play another Metroidvania after Ori and the Blind Forest, but if he is, may I recommend Rex Rocket?

Re: Things on My Stream
Re-watching the Loom/I Am Bread stream, the YouTube video pauses for 3 minutes between 47:07 and 50:10 for some unknown reason. I wonder if it can be fixed.
