Quick point of note but if suicide has ever happened to us we probably wouldn't be able to say yes.

But you would say yes if you tried to commit suicide, and it didn't work. Because you would still be alive. And thus able to say "yes".

By the time I'd finished watching that, I was dead sure you'd missed an opportunity to fully integrate a shirt ad into the bit.

Yeahhhh, I would've liked this better had I never seen the College Humor video that used the exact same gags, so it's kinda hard for me to judge. :(

This is a lie - this video will still be funnier upon subsequent watchings of it, though FLCL will never make sense.

Also, maybe I'm just sick, but the dark almost morbid humor really doesn't bother me.

Never thought of it that way.
PS Did I spy facial hair on Paul or are my eyes deceiving me?

So, I'm watching all the old videos in order while still keeping up with the new ones, so it might just be that I haven't seen Paul without his beard a lot, but this video is makes me see how sexy Paul is without the beard. Seriously, hot.

What Did We Learn This Week?

* It's only a 5-point disadvantage to you. To him, it's a lifetime of misery.

* The blender's going to explode, isn't it?

* There's a masturbation joke just dying to be made here but...no. Leaving that alone.

* How did he GET a prescription for Placebo™? You can't get that here in America...

* Nit picky, but this is going to bother me until Friday unless I ask it: Once Sure-icide goes past its expiration date, and therefore the pills go bad, what do they DO, actually?

I somehow doubt he'll have tried masturbation all too many times, if that's what happens with a handshake and a key...

Well, know I know what Graham was talking about in the previous video thread, this one was certainly strange. Good, but strange.
...Now I really want a smoothie. :(

…wait, was that a dental approval logo on the pill bottle?
I can almost read the text...
This is some text
This is some more text
And then something about a text object, and French I can’t quite make out…
Can we get a clear picture of the label? :D

This is also a text object
This is the final text

And as always, Paul plays the corpse.

Took me 3 watchings to finally get that the whole thing was an ad for suri-cide. I find the concept amusing on paper, but I think that it should have led up to the end with things that were a good enough reason to lead to suicide (not that there is a good reason). For instance, running into a pole, breaking your key off in the door, and frying the tv only have the beginnings of a bad day.

You win a placebo internet.

Well, I think the implication was that these kind of things have been happening to him every day of his life, with his ability to make a really kickass smoothie the only thing allowing him to grasp his few remaining shreds of sanity. But I see where you're coming from.

Incidentally, thanks to the recent ISC I expected during the smoothie part that he accidentally put mayonnaise in there somehow.

This is the way I saw it as well. If your own life was a freely flowing fountain of furious fail, that bottle of Suri-cide would look better every day.

His sweet release is kind of a nice ending after contemplating that kind of life. Though, maybe if he spun his 'talent' into a larger career, he could have earned enough complementary work-reducing infomercial products to function, or simply hired a butler for non-smoothie-related tasks.

I'm a honest man with honest opinions.

It sucked.

It is the worse LRR video I have ever seen.

Not even a little funny, maybe that was the point , but it failed.

My 2 cents.

PS- It wasn't the concept, that wasn't the bad part of the video. The hole idea of an actor for infomertials that is bad at everything he does, isn't that bad on papper.
But The production was bad.
-The music didn't match the video
-The acting was bad
-Etc Etc

Again maybe it is too profound for me.

Also, I would recommend putting some kind of disclaimer on the main page for the video about the CH video, as to prevent unneeded drama, if you guys really have never seen the video before.

This might actually be one of my favorite videos yall have done... its really creative.

Did the idea come from actually watching an infomercial and saying "Do those people just suck at everything? wait, there might be a video idea there..."

I thought it was pretty funny.. Though the ending could have been more like an ending for an infomercial.

Oh and you can just call me Dave.
No need for the whole screen name.

This video sorta threw me, but it is such an amazing parody of all those commercials with people who inherently suck at what they're trying to do. Probably not for the widest audience (mainly for people who watch TV so late infomercials come on), but overall a very funny video.
