CORRECTION: There is a tense referred to as "simple past", but is isn't as common and slightly more complex than the past participle
That's right. The use of this "simple past" in french makes you look quite pedantic. Nowadays everybody uses the "passé composé" (auxiliary "avoir" or "être" and past participle of the verb).

I feel bad to say this, but for the first time in a while I feel a bit dissapointed with the video.
I'd wanted to hear your Swedish impression.
Nah, good job as usual, but from the moment I heard him mention "Swedish" I was at the adge of my seat to see who would fail in "my" language, no such luck.

Since you guys tried hard to get the pronunciation right, did you skip over the Asian languages because you were afraid you would butcher them?
we sometimes catch a window, a glimpse of what's beyond

This felt very Python, was the Mattress Sketch from Monty Python an inspiration?
The most unique, nicest, and confusing individual you will get to know. Don't be stupid around me, that's my job.

Zeer goed. Wanneer het onlangs werd vernieuwd?
Which should be an akward translation of "When did you last renew it?"
But I ran it through a German pronunciation guide, and that's why it came out that way. My apologies to the Netherlands.
AGAIN!
Don't apologies. We should apologies to you for having the stupidest language ever.
The video was awesome and that is all that matters

Although good, the extra bit with Ben at the end seemed an odd thing to put in. Excellant video.
EDIT: oh, and I thought it would be funny if the whole reason Matt was making them do this was because Graham wouldn't serve him untill he pressed the bell.

The pronounciation sounded German, but that's also because we don't really use that phrase in that context, the Germans do (not entirely sure about that though).
(P.S. it's spelled "Zeer goed." in Dutch and "Sehr gut." in German. )
There I may use the opportunity to clarify this. The Germans don't really use that phrase in that specific context either. Or at least I never happened to hear it that way
Anyway, great video guys. I really enjoyed watching this one
(Or should I say: Sehr gutes video.)

Oh, I didn't notice the binary part. That probably made me laugh more than anything in the video. Great cut.

I worked at a technical service desk, where my boss was once expressing concern that all of the employees either spoke French or English, but none were fluently bilingual. So we would be able to serve French and English callers, but wouldn't be able to serve bilingual callers. I tried to explain to him why that was silly, but failed.

You shouldn't have. Just pat him on the head, give him a cookie and tuck him in for his nap.

I'm not sure if it was already addressed in the forums but I didn't find it during my quick read through. If it was addressed just ignore this post.
What good does a sigh saying "we are omni-lingual" do if the sign is only writting in english?

If you can't laugh at yourself, just laugh at other people.
