The Tale of Matt Wiggins

Postby Matt » 28 Nov 2011, 14:09

What happens at Desert Bus evidently gets fully realized a week later.

I only have one question: Where was King Kool? He's the only one I couldn't recognise.

Also yay #TeamFugi and #TeamKroze :D

I think he's in the background in the Krashton pit, during the QWOP-walking clip.

If you're looking for a video to introduce your friends to LRR, this is not it.

I was pleased to see nearly all positive responses on the Escapist though. It sounded like most of the commenters watched Desert Bus, which is good.

The first shot of Matt as Gannondorf made me laugh harder than anything I've seen on the internet for quite some time. This is easily the funniest LRR music video yet. I applaud you all!

That shot of Alex just made me loose it.
Then I completely lost it, on the levels of Graham during Normal guy, Normal walk when it cut to the shot of Kroze and Fugi.

Now, normally with LRR videos i find them hilarious, but I'm used to their style of humor. This took me completely by suprise, and I love it so much. Matt declaring that he is an act-or during DB made me chuckle, but anyone able to somehow look serious while doing half of them shots deserves the recognition.

Seriously Matt, we love ya XD

I was slightly prepared, because I was awake for this (skip forward to about 1:28:40 - local time 7:05PM). Still much more epic than I was expecting.

Many people have already made the comment, but is it fair to say The Lonely Island were a slight influence for this track?

Edit: Duh, Jack. Note credits. (I am not hugely versed in Lonely Island, so there's that.)

Indeed. This was hilarious, great to see it done as a video.

I ROFLed so hard at Kathlink poking Gannondork. The only thing missing for me was Ashley yelling "AFRICA!" as the letterbox closed.

Wow...

I don't understand how this could work with something that just happened last week but this video MADE ME NOSTALGIA SO HARD!!! Everything played off my emotional connection with DB extremely well.

Kicking off the beat with the glasses was a great start to a great video. The back lighting from below added to the epic feel, and Ian's singing really topped it off.

I'm quite liking this whole everything-is-recorded deal... it's just a case of searching the chat log for "Jack Sparrow", doing some timezone calculations, and finding the video for the right time.

Holy bus, is 64k... back? I am in awe. Seriously, throughout this video my face contained the biggest smile it has seen in a long time.

Also, looks like you forgot to credit Tim.
