I've been around for a few months on the forums i just keep getting beat to what i want to say and therefore didn't reegister till a couple weeks ago, but with desert bus 2 I was about as AVID about being on the chat as Kroze was. (well no one was as awesome as kroze but once i was actually with an Internet connection starting Sunday night I slept less than 15 hours) I got mentioned a lot on the last day as i had some awesome stuff and now that they know me a little better I think I'll probably start posting more.

I'm in much the same boat as most, I've been aware of LRR for about a year and a half, but it's now after Desert Bus i've gotten more interested.
My real name is Mark, I'm from Vancouver, and I play far too much in the way of 486 computer games on my mac. I work in technical theatre and spend evenings and weekends Geocaching and taking photos of weird stuff.
Congrats on nearly 70,000 dollars for Child's play!
Cheers!

Hi I'm James and no I do not plan to kill lrr James and absorb his entity to join the crew. Other than that I live in Saskatchewan, the only place in Canada I still have to use spell check for... I joined pretty much to say thank you for the free videos and start a thread on Oni, preferably to gain support for a petition I intend to start once I find the true source (of ownership).
That guy from the place with that thing, you know?

Or you can buy the first five Keen games off of Steam for USD$5: http://store.steampowered.com/app/9180/
Incidentally, these are actually the original binaries running in DosBox, so once you've bought them you can do what I did and copied them to my Mac and run them in DosBox for Mac

Greetings LRR Team and all Forum members!
My name is Christian and I finally decided to join the forums as well.
I discovered LRR two years ago and I've watched almost every video (if not all) since then.
I really enjoy LRR as it actually somehow reminds me of my clique I had before I moved.
I was with you at Desert Bus 2 - where I spent a large amount of my money - (nickname zico_dxx) and after that I thought it was time to finally join the forums.
I am from Germany so please forgive me if my English is not so good. However I hope I'll have some good time here.
I really look forward to discuss with you all about the great Videos and maybe about a game or two in other topics!
I hope with my dedication to Linux, being a Fanboy of Nintendo (I love Zelda and Metroid so much) and my ATARI 2600 I am geek enough for you all.

Hello, I posted on the "Did you come here from Desert Bus?" topic, but here's a fast version:
I'm from the Vancouver region, currently a student of SFU, but living in Japan on an internship at the moment.
I love:
-PC gaming and occasional console
-Reading
-Snowboarding
-A variety of team sports like soccer, baseball, basketball
About me:
-Name: Daniel (Dan is the usual)
-6' 3" tall and a sore head from living in Japan
-5 younger sisters and 2 younger brothers. I wonder if they'll believe me this time....
-Age: 23
-Major: Electronics Engineering
I really enjoyed watching and interacting with everyone during DB2: Bus Harder, and I think you LRR folks are pretty cool people
Keep up the good work!

Oh fire, my love, you burn so bright, but it sears my flesh so.

Heyyy, been watching/listening to podcasts/reading the forums since How to Talk Like a Pirate (don't know how long ago that was...but it's been a while).
Watched a lot of DB this year, but not nearly as much as most people on the forums I loved what I did watch, though, and made my boyfriend late to his game because I didn't want to leave until Paul shaved his beard off.
I'm from Wisconsin, double major in Dairy Science and Biology at UW, and game a lot so I get a good laugh out of the topical videos (even though I love them all).
-Real name is Meghan
-Originally from Madison, WI, but I rarely venture back there anymore...that place is too disconnected from reality >_>
-I read a lot
-Play console games a lot
-Played WoW for 2 years before I quit last semester-had a level 70 tauren druid and 70 troll shaman on dethecus, but I probably will never go back at this point
-I love skiing, soccer, fencing, and weightlifting
-I'm 5'0" and a redhead, so I have both Napoleon syndrome and a spazzy temper (I promise to keep it in check here, you guys are too nice to be snippy at )

Hey guys, new to these parts of town.
I first heard about lrr when 1337 came out but never really looked into them until I went to a Pure-Pwnage screening and saw you guys there, well actually I saw your merchandise and recognized the logo from the one at the beginning of the 1337 rap video. So I bought t3 stuff and found out how cool you guys were, watched a few more vids but never really kept up to date, just watched the ones my friends told me to and then DB2 came around and omg it was awesome I lul'd I cried but most of all I had fun -- for the children ^^ after it was over I decided to check out these forums and more videos because you guys are really cool in person.. or over webcam, felt like i was there with you xD

Hi there
I'm Christian Möller, long time lurker since the days of "How to Talk like a Pirate" (which taught me a very valuable skill indeed).
Though originally from Sweden I'm currently a student at King's College in London but will (if all goes well) graduate come summer after which I'll probably move back to Sweden and get a job. My course is a BEng called Engineering with Business Management. It's a good one, but nothing to write home about; I tell them about it via Skype instead.
In my dwindling spare time I enjoy playing games, tennis, sailing, singing (choir), xkcd and puns (see above example). I also enjoy writing verses and rhymes when in a certain mood and so I'm responsible for the "Donate More" christmas jingle sent in during Desert Bus for Hope 2. For the record I think the concept and execution of the fund raiser is absolutley fantastic. I've been following it as much as I can.
Well, I think that should do the trick as an introduction.

Hello all,
I'm Jordan. I'm from Nova Scotia and I've been watching LRR ever since the first DBFH and just now I've decided to join the forms.
It's been a long time since I've been active in any online community but I guess my subconscious is just working really hard to pull me away from studying for exams...
...speaking of exams I need to go.
Regards,
Jordan
