That is the worst Fezzul, and then it's hard to prioritize and it's easy to end up not doing anything instead.

I use the folder "T-Shirt Contest" in my pictures folder.

I used the folder for a legit contest with design a t-shirt. Now those files are dead, and the name is ironic.

I once made a folder called "Porn" on my desktop. Print screen, paste to Paint.

Deleted the folder and made the picture my desktop wallpaper. So all the shortcuts were right where they were before except the Porn folder is now just part of the wallpaper.

I watched a friend spend 20 minutes clicking on it going "You dirty bastard! Let's see what's in here! Wait. Is your computer going slow or something? It's not opening! WHAT THE FUCK! I CAN'T EVEN CLICK IT!"

I once had a folder named "Prawn" on my desktop. It had pictures of prawns in it.

I once left off my computer for tech service. When I went back for it the dude wouldn't even look me in the eye. "Oh... it's you".

Whelp, this is bullshit. I may have mentioned on here before that my family is being sued by some guy that doesn't like our dock being where it is. He claimed that it's at a road end or something along those lines, which makes it illegal to have a non-public dock there (which I believe our dock is public, but only nearby residents can park boats there). This is for a dock that's been there for a long time, long before we moved in. He was suing everyone over it. The county, the road commission, the police, us... it's just plain silly.

Today, the guy suing won that case. Yay. Now we basically can't use the dock, despite it still being there. We just can't have our boat there overnight. Considering the place to put the boat in is a 15 minute drive away both ways, and it is such a hassle, that means our boat and the cottage are now without use.

Maybe you can ask for preventative measures so you could use the deck pending the decission? Personally I think it's very unfair that you can't use it because of someone's whim

We can use it, just not for docking our boat. But that's one of the big things that we use, and taking it in and out of the water would take a good amount of time each time. I doubt we'll be using the boat much, if at all, if the decision sticks. Which sucks since we just got a new one this year due to the old one dying.

The issue is that it's now considered a 'public dock' due to being on a road end. The problem with that is that it isn't at the end of a road. There's a fairly large lot between it and the street. Easily big enough to have a decent sized house in that spot. The guy argued that it was at a road end, something that the road commission had said wasn't the case. The judge agreed with the guy apparently.

The decision doesn't matter for this year anyways. It's cold enough that we've already had the boat out for a while. And we've been having issues with the dock as it is. It's just a bad situation. Not a huge deal, but enough that's it's been causing my family a good deal of stress. It's also important to note a lot of my information is second-hand, so I can't be sure on the details.

Our tutorial's cancelled. We found this out from the one person our tutor bothered to tell. Even then, she only told him in a reply to an email responding to a question.

I'm sorry, but since when did the way MY room smells (a room which I am moving out of in the next three days) become your problem? So you had to go in there to fix the rooter, and you ran in to my t-shirts and shoes airing out after a FIVE-DAY LONG STINT WORKING IN A HAUNTED HOUSE. Of course they're going to fucking smell! I'm surrounded by fake blood, prosthetic heads, lots of rubber, chainsaws, paint, smoke machines and all kinds of other crap for 8 hours a night. And on top of that, it's hard work! I run around with a chainsaw, jump over fences, climb ladders, do all kinds of crazy shit, all whilst wearing a gas-mask which wasn't designed for heavy breathing. (And I'm damn good at it too) Bottom line: I sweat a lot, so of course my gear is going to smell, which is why I was airing it out in MY PRIVATE ROOM, which you happened to be in for a few minutes to check the modem which is only in there because my room happens to be the only one that has the correct fitting in it.`

So please, my week has been busy and stressful enough, and is going to be even more busy and even more stressful in the next few days, so please don't fucking add to it by haranguing me by text message about the odor of MY ROOM. I know I fucking stink, because I have been working hard doing a job where I sweat oceans and am surrounded by things that stink. I don't complain about all your shit. I don't complain about your personality problems, I don't call you on all the shit that you put me through (and there is a lot of it right now), because I know that it just adds to the stress of living. But clearly you do not understand this.

I will do my laundry when I have the fucking time, which I do not have currently, because I am busy excelling in three creative fields, in ways that many 21 year olds can only dream of, trying to sort out a personal life which is just getting increasingly more complicated (and which you are not helping with, FYI), and also, trying to move apartments on a $0 budget.

In short, fuck off, and give me my space.

Anyone see this week's The Big Picture (the MovieBob show)? For those that didn't, I highly recommend giving it a watch: it's an incredibly insightful look into the nature of artistic criticism and its place within the landscape of artistic media. Even though I've learned not to trust comments section, the Escapist ones are usually pretty good at identifying a good thing.

*has a look*

Oh no, wait, they're all talking about that one tiny Anita Sarkeesian reference he made. For ****s sake guys, the show is called THE BIG PICTURE.
