So young, and such promise. I will look forward to Stark Trek Beyond with bittersweet feelings now.

Re: RIP Anton Yelchin
Oh man. I remember seeing him in some movie (looking at his IMDB though, I can't remember for the life of me which one) and really liking him. A couple years later when the news started to come out for the Star Trek movie, it was him and Simon Pegg that really got me excited for the cast.
Re: RIP Anton Yelchin
Odd Thomas is what I first saw him in (Never saw the other one iwth RDJ), and he was really good in that one. Kinda hoping this will be the last Star Trek, not only for the series but because it's his last. I doubt that for both those points too.

First saw him in Along Came a Spider. He was 11 or 12 in that movie. It's sad and weird to think that little kid is now dead.
Re: RIP Anton Yelchin
27 seems to be the year of doom for many. I think I'm gonna skip it.

This is why I refuse to get famous until I'm 28 or older.
But seriously, this sucks. He was just starting to really make it, and he had some real promise.

Re: RIP Anton Yelchin
From what I have heard, the actors signed up for a trilogy in their contracts, so there's that.gcninja wrote:Kinda hoping this will be the last Star Trek, not only for the series but because it's his last. I doubt that for both those points too.

Re: RIP Anton Yelchin
I just watched the new Star Trek last night. I won't spoil anything though, but I personally think it was the best of the rebooted series. Anton does get more significant screen time than in previous films, which was nice to see considering.

Re: RIP Anton Yelchin
I just found out the other day that a personal friend knew Anton. That was neat.
