LOL, we're up against date my avatar.

A win in that category is unlikely.

Actually, we're not up against Date My Avatar in Video of the Year. Just "a very potter musical", "Neda Dying in front of the camera in Tehran", "surprise marriage proposal in Spain", and "The bag heads: quest for the milk".

Maybe you guys should mention it at the top of the next video? And of course the on-going Desert Bus effort.

Anyone else notice its actually The Secret of Sauce

Anyone else worried we're voting for a video that totally doesn't deserve it.

This isn't a scientific poll. It's a popularity contest and no one has ever claimed otherwise. Secret of the Sauce is as deserving of publicity as any other video with a fanbase that popularizes it.

Mashable awards serve as publicity for them and publicity for their candidates. LRR can put a blurb in the About page for it and mashable gets a ridiculous amount of traffic for their site.

To be fair, cosmic latte is a better name. (though personally, I like the self-depricating "astronomer's green" best.)

I liked Cosmic Cream better. In a similar vein I liked "House of the Dead" over "Secret of the Sauce", but hey, as long as something wins.

Uh... I think you missed the point of what they said. They're worried that the video we're voting for is NOT a LRR video, since it's "The Secret of Sauce," not "Secret of the Sauce." And, by extension, we may be voting for a video of somebody's baby exploding or something.

*Dusts hands*

Done and done. Is it the same as last time? A vote a day?
Nothing to see here.
