I'll be at a polling station, receiving votes. Me(and others) will be handling and counting them before sending them up the chain for them to be officially counted.

I voted yesterday.... and my the woman at the polling station's life a mess because I put the envelope into the box before she could put it into another envelope. (and she couldn't open the box). Hopefully you won't have to deal with people like me on your job Deedles

I like playing the violin after I get really pissed off with humans (on the internet). Because when you make a mistake, it often sounds horrible. So I imagine I mentally project every faulty note into the ears of the people who annoyed me.

Lets just say, when I start uploading videos of my playing, the haters will fuel my ambition. Because every person I manage to piss off will be more one reason to carry on (likewise with fans).

I don't get people who complain about people's content on the internet. Surely complaining gives the person more reasons to keep doing it?

Vengeance, the most effective motivation.

I was editing text for my video descriptions and titles on my Youtube account (to hopefully gain more viewership from browsers).
I decided afterwards to poke around stats, because I like looking at stats for myself. I like looking at stats for things during Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 as they help me understand what's going on where I cannot see.

I found this, which I find personally awesome:
Image

23% of my views have came outside of the UK. 37 1/2 minutes of my videos have been watched by none UK viewers. Why am I happy? Am I being ironically xenophobic by valuing the positive reaction of people from overseas?

Nope. I'm just pessimistic about the validity of the UK stats. Chances are, a large chunk would be my own views. I am vain in my creative work. I've spent a lot of effort making it and recording it (even choosing the appropriate free-to-use music). Why shouldn't I enjoy it? Therefore I have no idea what % of the UK views are accurate. Therefore it's safest to be pessimistic and discount them.

Given I have also never received a dislike, means I obviously haven't pissed off anyone enough.

Getting a view from Japan and Philippines (who've watched a whole video) is also awesome. As it's unlikely someone from those countries would have seen any promotion I've done for my channel. It means I am getting few views from passers by.

I don't know if any of you watched "The Normal Heart" in the last few days.

I thought it was pretty good but, more importantly, if you did see it, you will have seen the scene where Matt Bomer's character Felix sees a dying man on the Subway. That man was played by my friend and former dance teacher Robert Tunstall. A lovely man, who taught me a lot, and very much deserves the exposure.

So Strong Female Protagonist is running a kickstarter. They passed their goal within the day, and at this point, maybe a week later, they're at four times their goal. And they've got cool stretch goals! I'm so pumped for this.

Sounds silly, but eh. I found a piece of fanfic I did four years ago on someone's "recommended reading" list and felt another little surge of happiness.

Yeah, I'm saving up cash atm to donate to this and Elomin's sister's thing. My obsession with SFP is getting a little fanboy-y

Cool artwork, believable characters, I'm now a backer. Thanks for the heads-up Fayili.

So I recently said I had been missing Final Fantasy 3. The last game I needed to complete my collection. One that is a BASTARD to get because 3 became 6 on PS1 and then there was the confusion of "Is 3 now 6? Is 6 now 6? What IS 3?" Well 3 is the motherfucking game that has been re-released for Steam THAT I NOW HAVE!

THANKS TO EMPATH! It came as a surprise to me! I saw a green icon. "Fucking Steam. What shit are they promoting now? ... A gift?" Final Fantasy III from Empath!

Right. You've been a lovely forum but I am now officially a hermit. Send pizza and carrier pigeons. I will be back when I have 100% achievements in that game.

Transistor is good aahhhh, it's so pretty and the ending gave me all of the feels. That's 2/2 for good games from Supergiant games, I think I'm officially a fanboy.
Totally accurate, except for all the times I'm not.

My liver was playing up again that stopped me eating properly the past week. So I didn't eat the past two days! Fruit juice diet! Now I'm eating cereal and ALREADY starting to feel a lot better.

Now tonight I'm going to do some heavy training to help my body and hopefully start to feel hungry again!
