The song in question, I Am Every Girl from the AD Police Files anime spin-off to Bubblegum Crisis 2032/2033 from the late 80s. Someone help me please, I'm trying to cleanse my ears with the Bubblegum Crash 2034 soundtrack but it's not working.

a majority of my friends are huge fans of anime and are trying to get me into it. I tell them what I've seen I dont like.


But that's not the real reason I am so hesitant to watch it, I spend way to much time already trying to escape into other worlds I'm scared that getting into anime will give give me another way to escape from this reality, I have no real anchor to this reality but I know that trying to escape this world will only lead me to depression(which I'm pretty sure I've already been/going through). I dont know how long I will hold out from another form of escapism i just dont know.

Don't worry about it; anime is shitty anyway.

bit of a lighter confession now. i'm just rewatching harry potter deathly hallows part 1. First scene where hermione wipes her parent's memories. third time i've seen it, third time i've teared up when hermione disappears from the photos. i'm such a baby.

I recommend a solid course of L'Arc en Ciel's Daybreak's Bell, The Back Horn's Wana and Chiaki Ishikawa's Prototype and Uninstall. And if that doesn't work then follow it up with Nightmare's The World and Alumina and Maximum The Hormone's What's Up People and Zetsubou Billy. That should do the trick nicely.

I never watched past the second Harry Potter film. I saw the trailers and bits and snatches in screens while I worked at the cinema of III, and wasn't impressed enough to bother.

I doubt I'll actively seek them out, either. I mean, I'll probably watch them if they're on and I can't be bothered getting up or changing the channel, or if someone else puts one on. But basically.. I'm happy for them to pass me by.
