*Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal* Is the rough noise I made when I first heard about this, ages ago actually, now squeal again recently when it's coming back into the media.

Look like a Brit, Canuck and Aussie joint effort, according the flags on the side of it at least. Qinetiq (UK firm) built the jet, Australia has allowed to fly it, no idea what those dirty Canadians did though (built the rocket?). The video shown is quite something, but it's not the bloody scramjet itself, that's wery, wery high up. I'm looking forward to seeing what the result is of this.

If anybody has any information on scramjets post here, if not, just post here anyway.
